I was fortunate to have been able to shoot full-bore and rimfire pistols before they banned them in the UK. It was a huge loss for me as I was very active in my gun club and had just began to run the introduction sessions for new members.

That S&W Model 29, look into Bill Jordan grips rather than factory ones. Bullets; the Elmer Keith designed types are the way to go - he designed the cartridge and the gun. Get some of his books, esp. SIXGUNS

Airsporters are to be admired visually only. A strip down guide will be handy but please don’t be tempted to put it back together again, far better to sell the parts to needy beards rather than the prospect of it falling into the hands of someone actually trying to hit a barn door with it 😉

Thanks Nick , some great advise . In this age of increased information distribution it's interesting but troubling to see the ever greater censorship focused on shooting/ field sports in general , it's not that long ago here in the UK that there was a particularly vicious campaign aimed at Anglers , featuring a mock up picture of a dog with a hook and & line in it's jowl aimed at stirring up trouble for those who participate in arguably the largest "Participation" sport in the world . Thankfully it didn't appear to have the affect the promotors had hoped , but that was probably because of the numbers of people who are actual anglers . Sadly shooters of all disciplines are a minority and easy to pick on . Come on shooters /viewers Just make a comment , Sat Hello or simply Thanks Nick or Something positive .Just make a comment !
