Oh dear Nick, I think you're on the slippery slope One of my pet peeves is trying to get the tape off H&N pellet tins, especially when they've been stored in the cupboard for a few years. Screw tops don't cost much more than the taped ones. 😄😄

We use a screw top lid, the tape is just to stop it undoing😁

The Sheridan Blue steak required 8 pumps, for full power, but early models required 12 pumps. The Sheridan Blue streak had the capability to reach 27 ft/lb. It was very tuneable but require special tools to strip

I'm thinking that the air pistol you were speaking of was the Drulov Condor (DU-10). A buddy of mine has/had one and it's pretty cool but could be a little finicky with the wrong pellets.
