This Week I Challenged Myself To Make A Gingerbread House From SCRATCH! A-Frame Gingerbread House!

Hey guys! This week I wanted to challenge myself to build my very own gingerbread house from scratch! We all know I LOVE a good A-frame, so of course my first attempt at a from scratch gingerbread house was going to be just that! A a-frame! I didn't want to use someone else's template, so I need to create one for myself! Lets see how this goes!

The molasses container probably listed the fluid ounces, and it weighed more in ounces because sugar is denser than water :)

Fluid oz and oz are different measurements, that’s why it said 12 fl oz but you got 16 oz. Oz is a measurement of weight and fl oz is a measurement of volume 7:18

That is one of the cutest gingerbread houses I've ever set my eyes on. It's really refreshing to see a more "traditional" style gingerbread house. I love the look of just the snow with a lit house and a green tree outside. The ones with lots of colors and candies are nice, just not my style. This is ANAZING. I also love that you took the time to make a cardboard model first!

I learned to get stuff to help prop the walls and such up while the icing is drying! Plus thicker icing, GAME CHANGER!!

The label might refer to fluid ounces which is a volume measurement whereas you’re weighing out regular ounces which refers to weight
