I understand the homeowners concern about peace and quiet in the country.. I would not like it either. We are destroying our ability to grow food in Ohio they are destroying all our farmland, this could easily have been put in the one of the old shopping malls like Eastland instead of destroying our land. Hope new terminal brings more international flights. A turbo-prop to Toronto is the extent today.

Have you asked the citizens of Columbus if they want more bike paths? I would say if you took this to a vote the answer would be No. We have the bike paths here in the north end I see maybe one or two bikes out on those paths. We should focus more on COTA. City Counsel I am watching your decisions. And build more inner city stores like Walmart that are on a COTA line. Anna In Ohio

If you didn’t know,COTA Levy was passed in 2024 And Yes that includes 500 miles of sidewalks and bike paths in the levy yes. Which Columbus residence said yes to the levy the Levy passed by No vote 43/-57 Yes vote so get your facts straight and be careful not making false claims

@@averyharris7580That’s what I thought. Everyone I talk to here wants more and better protected bike lanes.

If you didn't already know, the zoning for multi-use properties comes with no requirements for parking spaces. I doubt the average Walmart store would fit within an already dense area with minimal parking space. And based on a recent trip to a Walmart, being in one of multiple long lines stinks knowing that the employees at checkout lines are underpaid. It would be better if they were small businesses, not major companies that can close virtually on a whim. Walmart did just that at Great Southern- which is on a COTA bus line. As for the bike paths, the newly completed Hudson Street construction has a combination walking path and bike lane for one side.
