The fact that I'm seeing what I believe to be EQ Next/Landmark clips makes me so hopeful for an EQ3! Even if it was taking a more action combat focused approach like Guild Wars and the likes, mixing the signature class fantasy and unique class roles of EQ into a system like that could really be amazing. Obviously I'd like to see it in a classic MMO style, but you need to capture a core audience and I don't know how feasible that is as a large scale classic MMO in the current scene.

If they went for EQ3, do you think they would go for the action oriented route or stay true to the original? I think the mmorpg market today is much more fitted for something in the term of original EQ-gameplay than it was 10 years ago (when EQNext was designed).

@@TheAradar You could be right, though I still don't know if it can pull a big enough audience for the development costs it would incur. Especially when you consider that making it akin to the original would cause it to directly compete with what people already love.

As the game that I am forever nostalgic for, even with all the disappointments of the past, I still really really want a new Everquest game. I hope we get some cool news in the coming months. Thank you for running this show.

I've never seen them ramp up so many job postings before. I'm still kind of jaded though, game has been running in maintenance mode for years.

Hm new job postings, EQN clips during this video, big news that can't be announced yet? Hm, interesting. New EQ game? EQ 1.5 or 2.5 remastered? EQN revival? Vanguard Saga of Heroes revival? The truth is out there! I want to believe.

Everquest Remastered would be awesome. Keep the core gameplay, update the graphics for today standard, do some changes where it makes sense (classic content raids for example).
