In THIS WEEK IN LAWN CARE We finally get a chance to finish off the last of the spring lawn maintenance jobs and, of course, deal with the heavy rain that's sent to test us.

Would you advise to check the ph of the soil where the conifer was or just throw the seed down, keep up the good work

I wouldn't be concerned there's nothing at present to suggest there's any issues. Plus, this area's not visible from the house and is in an area of wild grass.

Can I ask which lawn hopper/ spreader you use for applying your granular feed. Thank you .

Hi, Can I please ask what height you generally cut at with the push mower and do you vary based on time of year?

Hi Mike, Horses for corses, really, Different heights for different lawns. I think you won't go too far wrong if you try not to take more than a 3rd of the grass blade off at one time. Obviously, that's easier said than don't on the fortnightly lawns this time of the year.

@@TheLawnGuy Thank you for the reply. This is for my own lawn, currently cutting at 50mm but feels long, looks healthy though. Might give 40 a try.
