My grass all seems to have roots extending 6 inches into the soil. You seem to cut through at around 2 inches. Are your roots shorter or does transplanting only the top 1/3 of the roots and leaving behind 2/3 work well?

Hi Dave, you were well under the weather on this one, but cracked on regardless. I hope you don't mind me asking on a separate subject. I am looking to buy the Camon LA25 Aerator in September, but I see that they have a battery version utilising the Ego power batteries. This would be a great fit as I run a lot of Ego gear, but I wondered what your thoughts are on the petrol versus battery version. Thanks in advance Dave 👍

Something like the position of your steering wheel might be involved... It seems unusual that you don't have a spare tire.... I was bless when I bought my truck it had five matching tires, I bought a matching alloy rim and tpms sensor so it can be rotated in without a hitch.

Hi Dave, should easily have that long grass paddock area done in half a day growth doesn’t seem too dense should be able to make a good finish with just one pass. In my first full time job (17 years ago) god I feel old, I had one to cut public rural footpaths which was scheduled for twice a year and only went up and back the path with no double cutting and finish was decent enough. Only issue I had was punches but I was using it in very rough conditions with bramble and hawthorn in the long grass. But by the looks of it you’re just cutting grass. Will - Moser Groundcare

Hi Dave, watch all the videos, this was a good one, as usual you are warts an all which is good and real. When you refer to 'weed and feed' do you complete this in one application or is two separate ones? The hedge trimmer you have is designed for heavy cutting in late autumn you can see the gap is large and geared slowly . You need the other one for summer it’s faster with less gap between the teeth . Stihl use letters to better to define what’s what I don’t think ego have that system yet ?

What do you think of robotic lawn mowers thinking of getting one for my lawn
@TheLawnGuy
@TheLawnGuy 2 ай бұрын
Hi Christopher Of all the lawns where I only do treatments, the two best are the two that are cut my robot mowers. The key to lawncare is little and often. The key to mowing is littand often. And the best thing you can do for a healthy lawn is mow is mow it regularly. The robot mower ensures that will happen. But don't just set it and forget it. You will need to sharpen/replace the blades during the season and strim the edges regularly. And if you aerate, make sure you know where the wires are. Otherwise, you'll be hunting for broken wires under the ground.
