You can get that fb removed as it violated Ebay rules. Ebay rule states "personal attacks that could harm the reputation of the seller or their business and could not reasonably be viewed as constructive criticism." Is one of the rules when they will remove feedback. That is what you will need to tell ebay in either online through your account or call them.

Yes, I put that in my removal request but nothing back so far. Planning to call Friday after the wait period is over. Thanks, I appreciate that.

@@RealBoringFlips Also you should consider offering 30 day free returns on all your items. They pretty much automatically remove bad feedbacks on returns then. You will also get more sales. When I switched, I did not see any increase in returns at all but did notice an increase in sales.

I have really been considering this. I used to sell a lot more VCRs and DVD recorders and felt like I was getting a lot of "Rental" returns on those. Are there certain listings that you don't offer free returns or maybe you have to offer that store wide? I'm not sure on that.

@@RealBoringFlips You can offer free returns on all items or some items. Some people don't offer free returns on the reall heavy stuff. But the seller can always say not as described anyway on those.

@@RealBoringFlips I feel like if you're representing the product honestly with all the nescessay pictures there is no reason to offer returns. Any buy can message you and work it out, or they can file a not as described claim without saying anything to you; either way the end result will be the same. Offering returns is saying it's ok to trial my item. If you're getting negative feedbacks that ebay will not remove you're doing something wrong. I have zero negative feedbacks, I have one neutral, written in spanish, that claims they did not receive the item evem though tracking says they did. That customer never responded to any of my messages, not even one translated to Spanish. Can you set certain items to free returns? I'm certain you can; I believe you can set your default listing mode to that as well but still have to option to selectively change any listings.

My opinion: Blocking good. Reporting buyer, not so good. Reasoning: eBay doesn't actually care; there's no benefit to you.

Thanks, that's what it feels like for sure! I had a few returned items that were not the item I shipped (just like it though) and sometimes ebay would side with me but they still refund the buyer. Use good photos, show serial numbers, apply security seals etc. If possible, always request to file an affidavit in those cases because that is mail fraud and an actual crime. Thanks again for watching!

@RealBoringFlips Well, we are issuing short-term credit to eBay in order for them to market our items to customers and we agree to issue that credit under eBay terms. I would guess it's the impression of having a real person selling you items that keeps the fraud to the minimum it's at now compared to what Amazon faces with their business plan of the seller being invisible or themselves as a massive corporation that people are more likely to return items or commit fraud. It's interesting and terrible at the same time that companies have shifted from having real asset protection in stores to reduce shoplifting to now everyone pays the price for overall losses. I've looked for a better selling platform and every one I've tried is shady in some way. Poshmark I've sold an item on but I don't really understand what's going on over there. Mercari I've sold a couple items on, but again, I don't really understand what's going on there as well. I don't understand it from the seller's perspective and I don't think I'd understand any better as a buyer. Both are odd to me. Have you had any luck anywhere else?
