Last 3 weeks went from 843 to 1000 ratting. My favorite part about your videos besides you taking time to explain situations is your pace of thinking, reading the board and making a decision. Never rushed which is something I adopted and results are showing 💪

4:23 I got that rare move the other day too and played Bc4 like you did and it went ok. But I checked it out and Nd5 looks really juicy too. It is surprisingly difficult to kick the knight from that position. If you they play a primitive c6 they are shooting themselves in the foot, because it takes away a good square for the knight.

At 21:14, second game, the mating pattern that Banzea is talking about is exactly the same as in the first game! If you want to know more about Mating patterns, and this mating pattern, I recommend the book by Murray Chandler "How to Beat your Dad at Chess". It contains 50 mating patterns that Murray calls " Deadly Checkmates". This one is number 2 in the Book.

Thank god that Eric hosen popularized the Stanford gambit instead of the Vienna Gambit. We get to enjoy its obscurity for now. It has a good balance between soundness and practicality. Not to mention, you can get to play it much more frequently.

At 1650 rating, against the Vienna Gambit most of my opponents still go exf4 or d6, both of which are bad moves. I still rarely get d5.

I just think you are playing way to much in low elos, the people looking chess videos are not necessary Big beginner and are often stuck between 900-1200, starting 600 makes some games less interesting regardless this time they were not so bad i think the opposit answer are not so representative what we should go against ;) greetings from a 1200 belgium player
