I bought your London Course and your Caro-Kann course and I was wondering what to do when White plays d4 or something else completely. I have just started the Caro-Kann course so apologies if you go over it in the course. If you can only use Caro-Kann when white plays e4 what’s should you play for d4?

I reached 2000 by only playing the London System and stalled around that same rating range for a while. One day, I accidentally stumbled upon your channel, I immediately watched your video about the Jobava London and, from that day forward, I was hooked and introduced to the opening (before then I new about the opening, but didn't know its main ideas). Now, it's by far my main opening and got me to my peak rating of 2220. The Jobava London is great for Newer players, Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced players alike. Even though I'm a little bit higher rated than the players (opponents) featured in these videos, I still enjoy watching you go through the opening and explaining your mindset behind each and every move you make. I find these videos enjoyable and very instructive. Thanks for everything you do. Keep up the great work, Alex!

i like the way you play calm and slow not take take take or check check check. Your new beginner content are very good, of course Hikaru or Danya did higher content and more fun but your video is 100% suitable and super easy to understand for low rated player ( below 1500 ). i watching your content when i was rated 1100 - 1300 even for now while i play at 1600 - 1700 i still sometimes watch your video as reminder of basic idea of chess. THIS CHANNEL IS MY RECOMMENDED FOR NEW CHESS PLAYER.

28:39 exactly the right advise for me right now. lol - really cool and instructive to see you slowly dissolving the aspirations of the opponent. ...just by making small adjustments and waiting. I always forget that the opponent HAS to move (lol) and that I could simply wait, react and concentrate more on anticipating.

Hey, loving the series. I have a question about game 4 against the Pirc, the move 5. e5 is great if black takes the pawn but everyone I face in the Pirc know to play Nh5 there after which white seems to just be down a pawn. Do you have a line vs that or do you recommend a different move than e5 against higher rated opponents/ in longer time controls? Thanks! ❤
