I will say that General clearly has arthritis, so while it is good to keep him active, some days he just won't be feeling like moving around or jumping so don't try to push him too hard!

Poor little scaredy cats. I don't think it works to force them together, not now when they are adults. Maybe just try to create situations where they can choose to interact, and let them do it in their own time. I mean, you know your cats much better than I do, but that's what I would try. At least TT isn't afraid of the General. She seems to be treating him kind of the same way she treats DD, which I take as a good sign.

Claire u r a great cat mom but let the cats get along on their own terms. By forcing them in each other's space u r creating a stressful situation for them. Also plz carry General in a more proper manner. It's uncomfortable to watch the way u carry him sometimes. He is a recovering elderly cat he shouldn't be put in stressful position for entertainment purposes
