"Bad luck?" There's not one scripture in the Bible that mentions "luck." Jesus Christ is NOT the God of "luck." Jeremiah 29:11 definitely doesn't mention "luck." You have put out some pretty good series; however, please refrain from using words like "luck" in your videos. Christians are "blessed" and/or "favored"...and even "fortunate." We don't serve a "Vegas" God. Thank you and be blessed!

The mom's advice sounded like it was one-sided too... The daughter was selfish and superficial only concerned with what her husband would do for her (taking), but the mom solely focused on telling her daughter love is only what you do for him (giving)... Love is reciprocal in what you give each other in a partnership/ covenant... It's an agreement between the couple and God in marriage, and it's not only you give nor only you take, but it's balanced in both (God likes balanced scales).

46:05 I think most people marry the wrong person b/c they don't know who the right one is for them - so, it's very weird & unusual that this character knew he was the right one b/c God actually confirmed it, yet she still chose wrong b/c she rejected who God has for her. Also, just like God knows how to give good gifts to his children (what we actually want/ desire) and God adds no sorrow when he blesses us - He wouldn't put you w/ someone you're terribly unattracted to - God isn't trying to make you miserable, so there's nothing wrong w/ asking for someone you're physically attracted to as well as long as you're being reasonable and also concerned w/ other important things & not just looks. Aside from the example of xenophobia and racism from the female characters here, I believe it's wrong the way both the world and religious people keep telling women not to have any standards for themselves... They don't tell men the same thing - in fact, even in this narration both men went after women they were attracted to telling them how beautiful they are, yet only women are told to put away their standard of wanting a man they're also attracted to... If they could have women they were attracted to, then it's only fair that the female characters should have men they're attracted to as well.

I agree with you ! These folks are confused if they think God will give you someone who you're not attracted to, that means He would cause you to commit adultery and God is not like that...

@maryjean-vb8bm Unfortunately, they do often marry who they were told was a suitable mate, and then cheat on them. Even when they have beautiful wives, they may cheat b/c of what's operating in them and its not that the wife or husband being cheated on is doing anything wrong...I think it adds to the devil tempting us though if we know we're not attracted to our spouse and just hoping we'll grow into it or stop caring.

I know we have to be mindful of what we say rather Christian or not! Yet let us NOT throw out the Baby with the bathwater. Meaning, do not let a slip of miswording cause you to loose sight of the VERY important messages in this video. We all say something amiss at one time or another. That's why God says the Holy Spirit has to perfect our prayers with groanings that cannot be uttered. Plainly speaking, if we have a slip up during prayer, how much more likely are we to do so in other forms of communicating? Just keep that in mind please, before being so quick to correct. Test the spirit that is leading you before jumping into correction mode to determine if it's God, the devil, or you.

And WHY are all the women in these videos so desperate to get married? I mean it's weird to watch them meet and then say "I love you, darling." That's not normal. I understand if the Holy Spirit can give you visions and tells you things, but I've never known anyone to tell me that they jumped into a marriage in a few weeks or a few months that didn't know each other before. This gives me the thoughts of the tv show, "90 Day Fiance'." I assume these stories are taken from Africa bc I hear when they say that they want to come to the US. In reality when foreign men come to the US they do a lot of changing bc of the spirit of the women here. Now overall I LOVE these shows and I appreciate the ones and thank you for writing them.

I know that God is our father. I know that we can call Him Abba Father. Can someone please help me understand why these characters refer to God as Dad? The Lord has many names that we can call upon in many different situations and He will respond. For example, we call upon Jehovah Jireh when we need provisions because He is the greatest provider. Isn't calling the Lord "dad" an earthly title? When one needs the Lord to fight a battle, shouldn't they call on Yaweh Gibbor instead of calling God "dad"? I understand the reason behind it but that particular term is not biblical and the bible chastises us against adding or removing from His word. Respectfully, it doesn't sit well with my soul.

Calling God your "dad" is the same thing as calling him your "Abba", because they both mean "father". For certain cultures, they call their father "Dad" or "Daddy" as a sentimental term to express a close relationship with your father. Calling this inappropriate is like telling people not to use their native language from their culture; the same could be said for every culture if that's the case.

I get what the movie was trying to say. However, the first the that attracts people is the appearance. If a man seen a woman with matted hair, uncombed, clothes are baggy and her breathe was smelling, what man of value would want that type of woman? Vs. If a man doesn't have a job, no degree, his appearance is unkept, his breathe stinks and he has a body odor, no woman of value would want that. When God created Adam he gave him responsibility, a job and than privileges. It is a privilege to name all the animals. God then gave Adam a help mate. But Adam has everything in order. When Ruth met Boaz he had everything in order. The first thing Boaz did was protect her. The men in the bible protected and provided. Why should a woman lower her standards? This is one reason why the world is upside down and women has to be so strong that it's like we have masculinity and men have become so weaken that it looks like they have femininity. A man should have everything naturally in order. That means he should have a career, a job, his own place, his own car, bank account etc. Too many times woman are marrying men who stays with his Mom. And wonder why men want a roommate in a marriage vs a wife. I get the fact that his money or looks shouldn't be a reason why a woman marry. However, just love don't pay the bills. Just love don't put food in the kids mouth. You love a person but you marry someone who will love God, who will compliment your weakness as well as help to strengthen those weakness and someone who will provide, spiritually, naturally, emotionally and spiritually.....

I feel calling God dad isn’t cool. It makes me feel like this isn’t a good video. I feel like it’s not teaching us correctly. I don’t think I’ve seen word dad in the Bible as well. Calling Him Father is more respectful. The video was good. Clear. I get characters mixed up tho
