My pantomime experiences as a child include being called out, at length, by both Maureen Potter and Twink. I learned (a lot faster than my mother, apparently) where I do and do not want to be seated in shows that involve potential audience participation. And Twink still owes me a chocolate bar.

I remember a guy saying he was from Virginia. The crowd got very excited... Virginia, Co. Cavan. How many people learned in that instant that there was such a place? "Hang on, you all don't think he's from THAT Virginia, do ya?" Dara spun a few minutes out of what possible crime this man is going to all the effort to acquire a Cavan accent to cover up.

Hey Dara - I usually say I am from Portland (Oregon), though I was _born_ in Altus, OK - I never lived there. I've only lived in Oklahoma for about three years total, since my father was in the Army. In fact, I have lived in Belgium longer than I have lived in Oklahoma. But I spent the longest time in Colorado until the last couple of years when Portland finally took over. Where _should_ I say I am from? :) Love your work!
