I love how quickly Dara is able to come up with such funny replies during the audience participation parts, given that they’re obviously entirely unscripted. Since they’re such a large part of each show, you’ve got to be extremely confident in your abilities, so much admiration of anyone who is capable of that. 😂

"Hammer & Nail: The Cobblers" would make an excellent superhero TV show -- BBC needs to know. There could be a romance side plot with Nurse Cratchett at Poultry Monsoon Hospital and a crossover with Megabus Man. "The Cobblers -- Crime Never Gives Them The Slip" "The Cobblers -- Repairing the Soul of the City, One Crime at a Time"

Dara is such a class act, he knows how to make audience members feel at ease talking to him and can tease them in a kind way that makes them laugh along and not clam up. So quick with the responses too honestly such impressive crowd work. As an American I'd never heard of him before seeing him on Taskmaster and I liked him on the show so much I've been checking out his stand up and now I like him even more. Aside from obvious talent and wit I just love a gentle giant, when an enormous man who could be intimidating and imposing is instead just friendly and silly it makes me happy.

Dara, I went 'bald headed' after two intruders (sorry about the bald there, not an intentional slag) and someone asked me afterwards, 'what was I thinking of?' Sure, I wasn't thinking, just reacting and feeling the need to 'puck the head off' someone ('s) who desperately needed it. Well I got close but one of them was getting in their car whilst the other guy held me 'at bey' on account he had a 25 Amh battery placed on his shoulder (shot putt style) and it's not something you want to get hit with? So I'm moving 'to and fro' trying to get an angle of attack, the guy runs around the front of the car and I don't follow him as I might get run over, so I'm there thinking 'what can I do now?' so I decided to try and kick the window in, first kick just bounced off but the second was going to be 'chambered, come down, perpendicular and be delivered with every atom of my being' but in the meantime, guy in car just smokes the tyres and guns the car down the road.... here's the funny bit, his partner in crime is left on the road and there is a mad man quite willing to kill him, if you could see his face, we both stared at this car disappearing down the road and he looked back at me with his mouth wide open (a completely true what the fuck moment), I'm going 'he he he, just you and me now buddy' but he thought faster, turned, threw the battery in my general direction and legged it down to where the car had stopped, about 40 yards away, that guy should run for Ireland, the speed of him was impressive. I got lucky that day but honest to god, the look on his face as we both observed his mate leaving him literally stranded, that was priceless. Make a joke out of that, you hair-challenged fucker! Sorry (you know I don't mean it). Saddest story ever, two Irishmen wobbling back across the park after closing time, first guy 'Paddy, Paddy Paddy?!' second guy 'Paddy's dead'....oh holy fuck, it still brings tears to my eyes as though I was a real boy. Respect dude.
