I agree with everything you said. Just to add to that; for those who are doing everything they should be, but still not seeing results, it may be a vitamin deficiency, medication they're taking, a medical condition, or a hormonal imbalance. This happened to me last year. I had a severe hormonal imbalance which resulted in a lot of breakage. I had to cut my hair from bsl to collarbone. I'm about 1 1/2 inch away from bsl now, but it was a medical setback that people should consider when even doing the right things aren't working. I love your channel! Great video!

Hair only grows 6 inches (on average) a year. Some grow a tad more, some people grow even less. So if you overtrim then you barely move along. It took me a while to figure that out. Now I only yearly trim, and my hair got to classic (bum) length with some TLC & patience (and banning the scissors). There are ways to deal with your ends when they knot up, like clarify washing and re-starting your hair. Splits can be easily snipped out, individually, no need to trim all of it off. If you keep trimming, it simply won't grow. Don't let the myth that cutting it makes it grow get to you.

very true but when I say cutting your hair, I mean cutting off split ends and single strand knots that you know aren't going to unravel. ya know what I mean?

@@CurlieCrys I know, I know, but you cut quite a bit off right now and so... I panicked! Sorry. ;)

Thank you sis for confirming the important tips towards getting this healthy hair . You touched on patience!! - that's my big issue because I want to see my hair grow like yesterday therefore stressing myself out wondering why my crown isn't growing. Starting from today I will be patient & following your tips after all I have time!!! #joining crys🌸

Ok I've been watching the newer videos and came back to this one. This one DID HELP me in realizing what I need to do to keep my hair healthy and growing. I have "high Perosity" hair and wonder what I need to do to still use ur tips as well? I'm definitely new to learning my hair and it's a slowwww process for me. I was so use to relaxing my hair that the older I get my hair is like "keep it up and imma split" 😂😂😂😂. Thank u as always

Had to revisit this video and followed the steps to trim the straggler ends of my twists. My ends looks so much healthy and twists are juicy. And i let my deep conditioner set for two days and heat at application...
