What made you guys switch from a full on band to strictly acoustics? And will you ever play your non acoustic stuff as a full band again? I remember my brother played with y'all a little after heart flip was released (shouts my bro Keith of TIDES.) and we all loved heart flip and clouded, including our dad who we all got estranged from like a year after clouded was released. The last good memories we had with him was going to see our grandparents like 60 miles away and throwing clouded on a loop. That was six years ago and I miss it more than I could ever express. I think of their single Take It Back, with lyrics that gave me some hope after coming out of an abusive relationship. "History" is like the time I told my ex to leave my place. I'm really happy for This Wild Life and it shocks me that they don't have as much attention as other stellar artists like Adele or Lorde. T.W.L.'s music, like this song, is pure gold.
