This feels like Im watching the fundamentals/beginning of life or some kinds of reincarnation. The reoccurring imagery of the ring, flag, diamond, etc gets more detailed/ better with the next iteration. It seems like instructions or something, and the door at the end with the blinding light is symbolizing life or birth. It's like a journey through the afterlife and being reborn. I admittingly watched this while I was high, then watched it just now sober.

Skull023 sorry to necromance a 2 year old comment but I just came across this because of another AS (dan deacon) music video, anyway I’ve been essentially dead 3 times in my life. Twice by drowning (I now know how to swim) and once by chocking on food and being resuscitated. There is nothing after death. It felt like going slowly to sleep and being doused in black nothing-ness against you will of vision. Didn’t feel pain, or joy. Just nothing. Nothing but black. Coming back was like being thrown back into a chaos of everything. I don’t know how it is I remember this, but I do. It was all black. Maybe it’s like that for someone like me and different for others. It was a bittersweet peace. Ever since I’ve lost the fear of dying.

Hello future me, I'm not doing as well as I wanted to be mentally but actively I'm doing as much as I can to meet you where you're supposed to be. Some days I really want to give up and end it all lately thats been very frequent...but then I think about you. I think about you a lot, and it scares me because I feel like I'll never meet you. It's only been getting harder but I'll keep going cause I love you and I know you love me too, knowing is the easy part but believing is where we struggle. I'll get there soon. Hope to hear from you when we meet. Ps: I'll try to smile more.
