Super seal absolutely does work! As a professional auto tech - I've used every a/c sealer on the market and without question - super seal is the only product that I've ever had great success with. I once went to a seminar in which there was a complete automotive a/c system mounted on a table top for demonstration purposes, the compressor was turned by an electric motor. As the system was ran and operating normally - a guy drilled several 1/8 inch holes in various locations at the evaporator and condenser. Within seconds the system was depleted and stopped working(ozone layer be dammed I guess!) The man then added a can of super seal followed by a recharge of the system. To my amazement you could easily see the super seal material oozing from all the drilled holes then form a plug which stopped the leaks entirely. The system was topped back off and then allowed to operate for another 30 minutes. The man then scanned all the sealed holes with a leak detector both while the system was running then shut off. No leaks of any kind were detected at all! I was sold on this product from that day on and have been using it successfully for budget type repairs ever since! It truly is an amazing product!

Scotty, there's two guys doing KZbin Vida that get my ultimate respect, you and John Cadogan (autoexpert, Australia). Neither of you two guys take a dime from car or product companies and you always give the hard truth. If it wasn't for you I'd have given up on my (Australian/Asian) Honda Odyssey when the starter motor died. I bought it cheap, it's got 382,000km(238,000miles) and I thought oh well, it's had a good run. But you gave me the confidence to have a crack and replace the starter. It still runs fine, shifts fine, burns a similar amount of oil as your celica, I'll keep fixing things if they break. Thanks a million, my kids going to a great school is more important than a flash new car.

Thanks for this video, Scotty! Your timing was actually pretty dang perfect, as I just noticed a leak in my '06 Volvo's A/C system... 😵 I figured most of the A/C sealer products were just snake oil (or would clog most systems) but it's awesome to know there's at least one out there that has a chance of saving me from falling down the money pit! 🤞

Scotty, just got off the ole second shift and watched the AC video, Great advice as always. People, listen to Mr. Scotty, he can save you some money and help keep your car on the road. By listening to him or a reliable mechanic and doing some about to some things before they become big. And AC probs can turn into biggies. Thanks again Scotty, God Speed and God Bless,,,,, Semper Fi,,,

Good advice, Scotty! Draining and refilling the system is really the best way to go. I haven't heard of that particular product, yet. I'd be interested to see if it would work in our old Navigator. It has always had a slow leak somewhere that we've never quite been able to find.
