My answer to your question, "When should I install the tracks on the Mule". It depends on the expected weather. The tracks will wear more on gravel than snow. As you know, you will have plenty of snow soon enough. Install the tracks within a week or two. You may need some time to get used to how they handle. I'll be watching. By the way, you and the fam are getting to be seasoned pros in front and behind the camera. Great work!

A dump trailer is more versatile and easier to unload for your wife. Hopefully you can get one wide enough to hold with mule on it. Make sure you can still get mule out of garage once lift kit and tracks are on. Hopefully you have been able to test drive a mule with tracks on. Hopefully you have power steering on mule you will need it.

The other thought with the outsider fyi was his sawmill & making his own rough cut to build his cabin. Plus the quick cabin to have shelter for winter logging. Suggest a winter emergency kit for the SXS & truck just in case. & planning where to put the meat pole located centrally like a firewood 'depot' We are the morgans have a huge firewood setup (another fyi). with the tracks hanging out further at the back of the side by side are you going to have to extend the toe bar so the tracts don't hit the trailer? A lot of the big farmers have tractors and trailers with tracks on them as they do less compacting to the land than standard tires and don't get as stuck as readerly when it gets wet and of course there favourate don't go flat but when they come off they take some putting back on but there are some trick to getting that done - check to see if they have a crease point on them as most do and need up keep - just put them on and enjoy them

If you will be hauling a trailer behind the mule, you may need an extension for the receiver and remember if it is three feet long extension it then makes the tongue weight three times what it is, so be careful with weights. Without an extension you may not want to back up a trailer as the tracks will contact real soon and even going forward you can’t make a sharp turn or again the tracks will hit the tongue of the trailer. Sorry for the back news just don’t want to hear of anyone getting hurt while enjoying you homesteads. Stay blessed

Happy pre Christmas gift for the homestead. These tracks will be awesome in the snow, and mud bogging. Greenhouse looks really cozy..
