Branz could have also range pulled a mob whilst the mage was iceblocked. The mob hitting him would stop him from getting sheeped as well as provided him with a source of rage. ...Or he could have just not dueled a mage as a warrior. Might as well just save yourself some time and jump off of Thunderbluff.

3:25 this pvp flagging was hot fixed on Sep 12: “The Coarse Dynamite thrown by civilian dwarf NPCs at Dun Modr should no longer cause players to become PvP flagged. Developers’ notes: These specific NPCs had a very small chance to hit you and flag you, so it may as well be zero chance. Nonetheless, we do not intend to make changes to the general behavior of enemy faction guards in Hardcore. Players who wish to avoid being flagged for PvP should avoid enemy faction settlements and quests labeled PvP in the Quest Log.”

There is some guy went there on a horde hunter and sniped someone that had that happen to them. It was pretty dirty. I thought there was supposed to be safeguards for accidentally PvP flagging built into HC though.

That Quest nearly killed me because if flagged me without the group knowing it. and when we pulled the big dude for the Quest the Healer couldnt heal me and i survived on like 10hp

At about 3:00 the mage makes a very common mistake. When you are sitting in your block, you don't get out of the block at a random time, or just when the effect fades away. First everyone should use a macro with cancelaura to be able to break the block whenever you want. And the main thing is : you have to pick the right moment to get out of the block, you don't want to get out the block just to get chunked by a melee swing. So you wait for the mob to swing, and then you get out before the next one. Here it was very easy to do since its just one mob with a very slow swing time, mage had to just watch the animation and break the bloc just after the melee swing animation. When there are several mobs it's a bit trickier but the principle is the same. But it's easier to do with the floatting combat text : you just wait until you see a lot of "immune" poping at the same time, and then you get out quick, before they swing again. You might get hit a few times but at least you avoided the most.

1st video is the average HC death, every mistake was made: 1 - No cleaning behind the quest's main mob or action area. 2 - Underlevel. 3 - Underlevel against elites. 4 - Undergeared, possibly. 5 - 2 v 2 when it should be 3 v 1. I did this with a full group of people. 6 - Panicking instead of trying to fight the 3 v 2. 7 - Every man for himself, resulting in one person dying and the other barely making it.

Honestly most group deaths I see could be avoided if there wasn't some disorganized retreat. Stay calm and hold your ground as a group.

Blink before hitting ground as a mage, charge a mob or critter before hitting ground as warrior. Or parachute cloak, or noggenfogger for a 1/3 chance at slow fall

Combustion doesn't add more damage guzu it gives you a little more crit per hit until you reach higher stacks then its guaranteed also there is no fire nova thats a shaman totem, blast wave is what your brain meant.

I did this guy on my lock. Everything was cleared (some by me) and as soon as I pulled, shit started spawning. Kited as best I could and eventually had to fear and pray it was a good fear... and it was. There's also a yeti cliff you can run to. Clear the yetis out and kite the guy over there. It's a bit safer... discovered this after my almost death lol.
