THIS Will Save Your trip! | How to tie - The Trip Saver

The Trip Saver has quickly become a favorite of mine. It's an extremely buggy pattern designed to incorporate a lot of movement, flash, and attractive materials. This bug is excellent for imitating stoneflies, helgramites, larger mayflies, and caddis, making it a great choice as a dropper. Overall, its general appearance makes it an excellent option for your next trip. Simply swap out the colors and size to best match what you believe the fish are after that day. Some of my favorites are black, olive, tan, and brown.

Man I never thought that one was going to end!!!! I always love your videos but could have done with out the redundant tools!! And that fly doesn’t need two ribs and two hackles pick one I mean all that work and one cast and it can be picked up by the stream gods.. Sorry but I would never tie a nymph that had that many materials and takes that long, but it does look dope..

Thats just how the created of the trip saver made it. You dont need to add all of it when you make it but it is a very productive pattern. Probably right about the tools, still working on this style. I'll keep that in mind for the longer videos

Haha, Idk thats just my voice, I can speak differently of course. But like at an amusement park the goal is to appeal to the majority of people. Obviously not everyone will like it but this style tends to do better than my others according to the youtube analytics.

​@@raywalteroutdoors It's because I moved to a new house and lost the sound of my old room. It had very good sound dampening! The new one while a better space for what I do sounds terrible. I'm working to get it back where Id like it, but am trying to avoid using foam over the entire room. This will cost more so I'm doing it bit by bit. Its getting better but is not quite there yet. If you want you can here the difference from what I've done now compared to back in November when I moved. Its slight but I definitely notice it, drives me a bit crazy some times haha!
