I think most of the recent Batman franchise has had at least one scene where he 'flies' into or onto a building, but the Transformers / Point Break examples mentioned earlier were obviously men wearing wingsuits. Nothing I've seen from Hollywood beats the footage of the guy who lands chest-first on water without a chute. There's a point where deploying a parachute will just mean that you dont necessarily have to close the casket at the funeral - he would have sailed straight past that point and hit the water doing some ridiculous speed - balls of steel.

I know this might sound crazy and illogical, but the idea of being in a wingsuit sounds a lot more comfortable, and less scary than skydiving. Its not that blunt dropping from 3 thousand feet or something, but a gliding off a ledge..the whole thing looks so much more appealing, although I wouldn't do it in a risky place, like these guys, gliding through narrow jagged rocks...that's just nuts, although awesome footage.

@ivandale-bc2 жыл бұрын
Find out the glide angle of your wingsuit and check very carefully the location and topography of the intended route. Practice in places with little risk i.e. from a plane in a totally flat area. Once you have mastered the wingsuit and extremely fine manoevres, go for it. Good luck ( I don't practice this sport ) :)
