This Wireless CarPlay + 4K Front & Rear Dash cam + 9" touchscreen can be added to *ANY* vehicle!

I'm super happy with this 9" Apple CarPlay and Android Auto touchscreen - with 4K front and rear dashcam/backup camera. My 2013 Ford Explorer didn't come with CarPlay support and aftermarket radio replacements wouldn't work with my climate controls. Upgrading the Sync 2 system was over $2,500 and would leave me with Ford's anemic interface. This touchscreen was easy to install, auto dims, and connects instantly for complete wireless CarPlay and AirPlay movie playback and media. With 4 different audio options (Bluetooth, AUX, FM Transmitter and Bluetooth Speaker) this screen will work in any vehicle. Oh, and the dashcam has already saved us from a road rage incident!

I don't think you tested all the features 🤔 or maybe you did and you were asked to tell good stuff only 🤷🏻‍♂️ - The unit if connected to a live source of power has to be disconnected to be turned off because it doesn't have an on/off button or switch. - When playing music through Bluetooth only one side of speakers works in stereo mode. - When having navigation on and playing music it becomes very laggy. - There is no way to update its software or the pre-installed apps - When on a phone call the other party has a problem hearing you clearly...

Are you using Apple CarPlay or the native apps? I haven’t run into the issues you describe. There is also an on/off button on the top left BTW.

You have to slide the screen for the rear camera to appear, the problem is that in mine device the front camera is the one who have the rear parking yellow rails and the rear camera doesn't...

​@@GoCloverdaleBreakers It does. The red cable (See 1:10) has to be run to the reverse light 12v power at the rear of the vehicle so that the camera toggles on. The process is different for every vehicle and generally complex. It can be found on KZbin generally by searching for "Vehicle name Backup Camera Install"

Just make sure you don’t have it plugged into the wrong 12v outlet because one stays on permanently and the other is only on when the car is on

The 9” unit is great. I hard wired it actually to an ignition controlled 12v line and it’s a permanent part of this car now. The 6” model doesn’t have a dash cam and has some audio BT take over issues (it likes to play sound locally vs through the car), but good also. Great options for older cars!

I have a 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLK350. It doesn't have aux or bluetooth. It's not even that old lol. My car was probably the base model when it was new lol idk.

You’d have to mount it low on the glass or lose the camera feature :(

It has a red electrical wire that is connected to the reverse light wire, so whenever you reverse it automatically switches to rear camera

Apparently this unit is no longer available at Amazon but they do have a Laviay unit with a 10.26" screen but no reviews or ability to ask questions. Anyone know if the current 10.26" unit allow the head unit to snap onto the windshield mount? I don't have a flat spot on my dash (HHR) so the windshield mount is my only option. Also, can this unit be powered via a USB connector/adaptor for a car lighter?

Front and rear DVR work during the other modes and you can flip back and forth easily.

This camera is not wireless. I define a wirelsss device as having no cables and no cords.

That's not how cameras work. The camera will always have a cable. The wireless connection refers to Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Wireless devices are laggy and less reliable. If you can handle the wire, absolutely go down this route.

I don't really trust a somewhat unknown device like this, to connect up to my phone and gain access to much of my information. I'm interested in a dashcam, and wouldn't mind a dedicated screen to run spotify/google maps (and other things like KZbin music). But this seems like a pain. Also not sure if I'd want CarPlay with my android phone, I don't really know what the support's like
