Before I watch this video I want to say that I engage in age regression privately due to past trauma and severe anxiety. It’s given me a healthier way of coping. For me it isn’t a NSFW thing, it’s how I unwind and get into a better mindset so that I can soldier on. Is it a little abnormal? Yeah, it is, and I understand people being weirded out by it, but we all have our ways of coping with life. It doesn’t get in the way of my every day life, it just helps me cope with it and has gotten me out of self-harm. And no, I don’t believe that I’m actually a child, I just regress back into a more innocent and safe mindset. Before offering me your scorn and contempt, just try and see where I’m coming from. It’s an absolutely private thing that I would never subject unconsenting parties to. Whether people accept it or not, everyone experiences some form of age regression as a coping mechanism. It can be something as simple as playing a video game you played during a good part of your childhood to try to recapture those feelings of security and happiness. It's intentionally using a catalyst to regress emotionally and/or mentally to a younger self. The vast majority of people do it to some degree and it's totally normalized. We have all kinds of terms for when the mainstream public does it, most of them including the word "nostalgic". I feel like a lot of people don't connect the things we normalize to the things we don't in ways that totally make sense. Granted, for most the regression is extremely mild in comparison, nobody can deny that is definitely isn't there. I'm basically of the mind that as long as there's consent and educated/informed people at play with anything, then go for it if it makes you happy. Everyone has their quirks.

Age Regression is something people do, often as a coping mechanism for trauma. I dont find anything wrong with it until its DDLG. Age Regression is SFW while DDLG is NSFW. They are very different. Littles are those who regress to a younger state of mind, thus, why they act in the way a child does. Age Regression is often used as a coping mechanism for childhood trauma, or other things such as anxiety, though, some people do it just for fun, from what I heard. Age Regression is entirely SFW and is never sexual, though DDLG is.

Hey! Figured as an age regressor myself I should give some input. A lot of age regressors use regression as an escape from trauma and the like. We revert our minds to a sort of safe space of that makes sense. This girl definitely doesn’t represent the actual people who use this as a coping mechanism. She makes it sexual + has an OF for it and that kind of stuff, which is more of an age play kink, which can actually be problematic. (Thinking about it, why would any reasonable person be attracted to a toddler or someone who’s in that mindset *while* they’re in that mindset…?) Especially since she’s claiming to be an actual age regressor. We don’t do it for sexual purposes, we do it for escapism. Hope this input was helpful/informative ^^’

I know my kid didn't start speaking in sentences (albeit shorter sentences) until toward the end of being two. For the longest time it was two and three word combos. I definitely agree that the time-out thing and other activities where she's still thinking from an adult point-of-view is totally true though.
