Just received mine. Yes, it is not too bad but, in the end, you get what you pay for. First drive. The front drive shaft fell off in a clump of DRIED grass. Note; was not driven in a particularly rough manner. As the truck seemed to still drive without it I was unaware it had dropped off. Consequently, took some time to locate it and I believe it comes off the motor shaft a bit too easily (no grub screw set up.) especially as the B36 is represented as being reasonably durable in off road situations. This factor alone indicates to me the upgrade/s are more than likely mandatory. The side and rear doors, although not quite so urgent, in the rear section of the truck do not shut properly. Other than this, it is ok.

I once had that pick up from WPL and I loved it but thinking of it now it was terrible and didn't even last a month. The driveshaft kept popping out. I have a Fayee Land Rover and that has similar components and the same battery as well as the chassis. Driveshaft is a little different because they have tiny metal bits that hold the shaft together. I have had the car for 8 months and it has not broke a single bit. I might want to buy the Ural now.

I ordered one and got every aluminum part they make for it and a whole kit to make it custom brushless. So 6wd aluminum and fast. Going with the 370 aluminum gearbox 1:1:1 ratio so like straight from the motor and a 6600kw hobbywing waterproof setup for great beach days

Great review! Gotta say I like your channel. I noticed in the back ground you still had tracks on your C-14. Did you ever figure out why they weren’t functioning properly? If so what did you do to correct it. Wanna get some for my c14 but worried I’ll have the same issue.

thanks!!!, So I did try to mount them on the C14, and same issue. The problem is that the axles on these models don't lock the wheel spacer in place (I tried to hot glue it, it did work). Although they stayed in place better it still was just too much friction and not really usable. I saw other models(not WPL) have these tracks, and they seem fine. Gotta get one of those to see how they made it work.

I got the B16 kit a while ago with the metal axle upgrade kit, even gave it a nice olive drab paintjob but the motor is really weak, the electronics are a disaster and the metal driveshafts keep coming off. I think I might just buy this one RTR and swap out the wheels and body, this one looks like it's heavier than a B16 anyway

Hey man, this is still my favorite and best WPL they ever made. I honestly cannot drive any of the other ones after this model, This is quite powerful and already has everything and more compared to any of the kit models. You might as well get this RTR as you said and have fun.

Mici125 hello!! Yes you can dissasemble this easily. Its the the identical construction as a kit model, its just already built and has no dissasembly instructions. All upgrade parts fit the rtr and kit versions. So far nothing broke, and it needs nothing. Great model. Thanks for watching!!!

YEP, this is one of those times that the RTR is cheaper. Actually almost all the pricing on the RTR for this brand is generally the same price or less. The RTR for this model is worth getting, for the C14s I'd say the Kit models are worth getting. Love it so far, dont even need any upgrades so far.

hello, they basically always say E-packet. I would not worry too much about that. If you get it and it's damaged or missing you can just file a return claim and get a refund. Usually ok with gear best. Where are you trying to order this from?

hey buddy! All these WPL style RCs do not have DIFFS. They are slow speed crawlers and generally are solid axles all the way Around. It's a simple setup like a toy grade RC, a direct drive pinion gear and a ring gear.

hey man!! Based on the current upgrades I've seen for this there are no oil shocks available for this one. It uses the leaf spring type rear suspension, pretty tough to retrofit anything that would work here. They do sell upgraded aluminum oil filled shocks for the C12 and C24, with some major hacking you could fit them i'd say.

bosley1980 hello. On the rtr models when the remotes afe not turned on and the rc is The lights always flash. When you turn the remote on they will be illuminated and not flash.

just watched your video and check my own WPL B36. Mine only flashes when the remote is disconnected. It seems like you have either an ESC malfunction or your remote is not paired. Try removing batteries from both remote and car then putting them back in, turn remote on first, then car. let me know. Once my C14 took a long time to connect, remote was not active for about 20 seconds.

Though just a thought, why would you think that damage in shipping would originate from china? lol as if china shipping is the only people handling the package all the way to your front door! hey man, thanks for watching!! You're 100% right, my claim was not fully valid. I was just pointing out the damage to this box, and honestly it doesn't even matter, because the model itself was really well packed in the plastic container it was in anyway. Although in general there is usually more damage from Chinese suppliers because they avoid using an outside box for the model, and generally use a plastic bag for the delicate model itself. You know what i'm saying?

Hi anybody experiencing the receiver didnt respond? After switched ON the truck, front LED blinking fast. It become slow blinking after transmitter switched ON. Thats it. DC Motor and steering not working. Any help really appreciated.

hey buddy! I have had issues where the wires became disconnected on the main EXC/Receiver board, and it caused the issue you are describing. Not on this model, it was on a C14 model. You need to physically check to be sure the tiny wires in the plugs are connected, I had to resolder one, once.

hey!!, Yep, I already see a whole bunch of metal part upgrades for this. This is at least a worthwhile platform to start upgrading, all the other RTRs are not in my opinion.
