Today we take a look at a project in the works for Garry's Mod that basically ports Yakuza 0's combat into it. You'll be able to use many characters from Yakuza 0 and give them a moveset of your choosing or you can fool around and do goofy animations also from Yakuza 0 with any character. It's still a work in progress and they're planning to add more to it, but it's the closest thing we'll have to a chaotic and fun online Yakuza experience.

Yakuza modders are just insane. I recall seeing someone last year mod dragon engine combos into yakuza 4, and newer y7 non turn based mods, and it just blows me away people have this much passion towards rgg games that they can do stuff like this, it's amazing

I already have the Yakuza Ishin, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Dead Souls mods installed on my copy of Gmod, and let me tell you, the work these LADS have done so far is nothing short of phenomenal! Just think about Super Mario Maker but with Yakuza characters and that's the most apt description there is to explain what YakuzaMod is all about. Now excuse me while i go try to survive Majima Everywhere inside the Backrooms ❤

there have been other yakuza nextbots on gmod and they're still downloadable atm! they have been discontinued but I don't think it was due to a cease and desist, because, remember, this is SEGA we're talking about, not nintendo, so it's more likely that they just didn't want to work on it anymore instead of it being something legal

I'm honestly surprised RGG never made a true multiplayer mode for Yakuza. It would be super cool to play with a friend running around Kamurocho and clearing out goons in certain dungeons and maybe even attaching a storyline to it.
