I was in a play called Red Velvet Cake War several years ago and on stage we had to eat a piece of red Velvet cake. Our theater director was a prankster so he made the cake and put all kinds of things in it like garlic, cayenne pepper, vinegar and we had to pretend the cake was delicious. Lol I haven't touched red Velvet cake since but this cake makes me want to try it.

Thank you for the video :) I tried making this roll cake today and failed. I got confused towards the end because it wasn't clear whether I needed to wait for the sponge to cool down or not. When I placed the parchement paper on top, the sponge stuck to it. It also wasn't clear which side to cut slightly because the side that was cut at an angle kept changing. I wasn't sure if you had flipped it over and maybe forgot to commentate to say. Will be tasting it later! It unfortunately didnt rise as much though, not sure what I did wrong. But i'm sure it'll taste good.
