Mark this is a good interview you did, Alex sure reminded me of Sir Basel of Hungry Serian Wanderer how his parents told him to move there to my Country the Philippines after the Syrian war not knowing what lies ahead of his future, but recently this year after 11 years not only he became a Filipino Citizen, he got married just had a newborn baby and his reunited with his Dad, his sister and 2 nieces who decided to live in stay there and now are in school, but sir Basel also very successful! Alex i think will do great! I am Filipina born from Iloilo city been here in USA since 1986 was living in Salvation Army orphanage with my two other sisters and we got adopted came here to U.S. and everyday the way this country is soo chaotic and falling apart under Bidens Presidency, i wish every day i was back there in Philippines! Inflation here is no joke, lay offs is skyrocketing, food prices is becoming unaffordable, gas prices is high, cost of energy is up the roif homelessness is skyrocketing, prices if homes here is not affordable you can't buy a house here for less than five hindred thousands, California its 700.000 thousands and up for housing, the rentals here for a 2 bedroom is over 2,400 hundred a month and up new york, California rentals is up in the 4s To 6,000 a month its crazy here in USA, people are going broke, hungry, and homeless never seen it this bad, and yet the government keeps printing billions of dollars to send to ukraine instead of helping Americans here and the economy is going broke! You guys are lucky there to live in paradise and in peace! Love your Vlogs i watch it every chance i get make sure not missing nithing!

There’s a Russian couple who lives in Catmon, Cebu, they have a vlog called Real Philippines, I subscribed to them too, they are vacationing right now in their former place in Nakhodka. The first Russian I know is Ronald Remy a Philippine actor , he was a nice person. The 2nd one is my co worker Anatoly .Hoped your success in your stay. I think the best way to speak and learn English is to read books, especially Novel books. Also there is a lot of English school in the Philippines especially Cebu City.

I've watched a few of these interviews and have to admit I was getting feed up with 'OLDER GUYS' looking for younger women in such a targeted way.This interview was different , inspiring and I think the main take way is we're all the same people and sadly a huge amount brainwashed by our leaders and their media networks. I saw a KZbin where the UKRAINIANS had to call the families of dead Russian soldiers to inform them that their son/father/etc. is dead and provide them with the proof they need to go make a claim for compensation from the Russian government. The Russians just leave their dead out in the fields. There is no effort to recover the bodies. I wish Alex good luck in his new life in the Philippines. I think he literally dodged a bullet.

I suggest that he can start a small business as a side from being a digital nomad. The current law has already allowed non-filipino citizens to own 100% of any business in the country (no more 60/40).
