@Kenny H I thought the same thing. But I was on silver before I came down with MERSA after knee replacement surgery. Stayed on it after the surgery too. Took a year on different antibiotics. Was on a PIC line at home for six weeks, two bags a day after surgery to remove the first knee replacement and put in a temporary plastic knee and clean the infected knee with meda to kill it. Infection now gone and waiting to have plastic knee removed and NEW permanent knee put in.

The Philippines have this air of happiness about them. Even people who barely have anything who are living a simple life are happy. It must be the atmosphere, the ground or water or maybe the volcanoes that emit this "Joy" in the air. You can literally feel it but the best places with this aura are in the province, away from big cities.

Just a thought- the P.I is composed of thousands of islands with hundreds of dialects and customs, yet they are mostly generally kind-hearted, why do you think that is? The most plausible common denominator is their Catholic faith which cuts across customs, dialects, and whatever it is that seoarates us..

Good morning.. It's good to watch this episode, it brings good vibes. Thank you Thomas having an open mind in assessing & appreciating things that came your way in my country. By the way, Filipinos are gentle & amiable people by heart and many will go an extra mile for you in times of need. Giving tips to a service crew is not compulsory here to but still people do it as a Christian act of kindness to someone who did his or her job well for you. As for me a P50. tip for a manicure & pedicure isn't much. Sometimes I bring snacks for my regular manicurist knowing she does not earn much and she has kids to feed. too. I think the love they see in us can lighten there life a bit knowing that others care for them. On my side since I'm not wealthy I couldn't give to charities. My random acts of kindness to give to needy people I meet along my way gives me pure joy. I simply give a hundred bucks without expecting anything in return as my humble way to make this world a bit better. my And most of all I do it as a gesture of gratitude to Father God for His lovingkindness to me and my family. "It's better to give than to receive" is one of life principles I uphold. Please continue with your program. I'm watching from ILOILO CITY.

Woman in the Philippines in general are not as selfish as woman in the West. It's always about them in the West. There is no balance. You are treated as a combination ATM and whipping boy. If you are a decent person in the Philippines then people will treat you decently. If you are an arrogant person you will struggle. When I was young, I was that person. I was constantly telling Pinoys how much better the West was than the Philippines. Now I realize what an ass, I was back then. I realize that I was wrong. The Philippines has the whole intra-personal thing right. They put family first. I now do the same. The Philippines taught me the most important lesson of my life and for that I owe it my happiness. When I retire with my beloved wife I will retire there for keeps. I will kiss Australia goodbye, probably forever.

I was planning on moving to the Philippines after the lockdown is finished but if they don't bring back the retirement visa I am moving to Cambodia instead. I don't want to settle in Philippines on a tourist visa then have them start limiting those to 90 days twice a year or whatever. I know you can stay for three years at a time on a tourist visa but that can change at any time. Lots of people are living there long term on tourist visas and aren't really tourists. Cambodia has an easy retirement visa no deposit required, minimal paperwork. Go where you are treated best.

when I brought my asawa to the states, I laid down the "law", re work, lol!! Living in the NW, even minimum wage is much higher than in the south! I got my wife into a trade union after a short stint as a temp. There are TONS of jobs unfilled in the trades, paying good wages and real retirement benefits between Seattle, and Portland! We have split time between Pinas and America, while the wife vested her pension... Additionally, even if one's wife works "under the table, or not at all, once she's got a "green card", she can receive social security in her old age. Sooner if she has a child, even not the American's, so, IMHO, bringing one's filipina to the states is worthwhile, especially for her! even a thousand bucks can make a huge difference, to a Filipina!

This guy is so dead on he's better to be in the Philippines the women will treat you better in the Philippine then the Western women will ... they will take care of you a lot better than the Western women for sure.... I just don't like the food there it's very high carb sugar diet that they're on but everything is really nice there the women are so happy so smiley always a smile on their face down to earth Western women or not down-to-earth whatsoever if you can get a date in the western world they're there for one thing..... I wish it wasn't so far away and the diet was better there but a beautiful country beautiful people United States and surrounding is falling apart and always will fall apart there's too much corruption at the top too many Crooks.... great video
