Tbh, I love this type of content. The videos that you've been producing since 3 years ago feels like a video essay. You're more of Art + Tech like Nerdwriter and other video/film analysis youtubers out there. This is art at it's finest.

Nerdwriter was probably one of the first KZbin names I remember. I’ve binged watched all his videos, so probably no coincidence if you find similarities. It does feel amazing to be in the same sentence as one of my role model channels. Glad you like the new content, it’s definitely an escape valve for my team’s creative side. - Caya

I work as a consultant for companies looking to pitch new ideas to boards, investors, etc. So, I still use your early startup slide videos as a great starting point for all my clients since I found y'all in 2018. I find myself rewatching them at least every other month. But the content you are creating now brings me back weekly/daily. I love deep-diving businesses and learning how they function. Even as my life gets more and more chaotic and I find less time for KZbin, I keep returning to slidebean videos. I am always a month or two behind, but I hope you make more videos like this!

Start-up CEO here - I have been watching your channel for quite some time. Your content is helpful, informative without BS, and entertaining to draw me in (nearly) every time. The company forensics series was amazing. I think you showed the sheer complexity of putting out good content, you have a full team of video editors, content creators, designers, and videographers to develop your videos. If you are a start-up company, I guess you need to budget a serious amount of cash to create even somehow acceptable videos. It's a trade-off, but I think KZbin has changed since you started your channel. Maybe it's just the wrong platform to start out in 2024?

I started watching your series from company forensics. I've been in tech and business for a little over 10 years, both on the startup side and the large corporation side. I find this content extremely educational both in understanding my own industry and the parts of my industry that I'm not involved in. I'm not a founder, but would like to own and run my own company one day. This content continues to be educational and informative. Tech nomad and millennials decoded are also extremely impactful in understanding the world that we live in and why people might think or feel the way they do. I've actually shared those videos with my wife (who is more of a creative entrepreneur and less of a tech person) and she has enjoyed them as well. Thanks for the years of content, and hopefully this helps you and the team decide what to do next

Yes, we love your content. You're literally the only Saas startup I know that uses KZbin for marketing, but goes hard like a pro KZbinr. So startup founders are analysing you to see if being a KZbinr is a viable option to market their startup. That's why these videos are important.

Hi, what i like about that channel is the detail informations in your content, although i can see the tech influence of that channel but sometimes it goes on tangent to talk about social issues, and the cherry on top is that, from time to time you often speak about your family in your content which to me humanize the channel, people can relate.

Congrats on the 500k mark. What an achivement! I only just saw this video, KZbin algorithm didn’t show it to me for 3 months. My feedback is I love the diversity and twists and changes over past years. It’s all interesting to me in different ways. My favourite KZbinrs are accidental KZbinrs - they’ve got in it to show their interests and grown from there. The fact that you are all interested in what you’ve created shows, so even when it’s not my perfect subject it is still interesting to me. I get energy from your interest. And you are always curious and questioning things, pondering why. I’m probably unusual in this approach to watching KZbin but that’s one person’s viewpoint.

(Good luck if you decide to give your take on the Apple Vision Pro). I particularly like the Company Forensics series; but any explainer video is a must for me. Hey Caya, I think this has been an excellent inflection point where you and your creative team have ended up creating a KZbin business on the back of a tech business. And as a consequence of being authentic about the lifecycle since the beginning, your community has grown as you and the team have evolved as well. That's really it. I am sorry that viewing doesn't make you much money. However, I appreciate the quality of the content.

Well that was kind of the point. We’ve accepted what this channel is, and are now doubling down on creating awesome content. - Caya

Congratulations for 500k Caya and Team. Amazing work with such insightful videos. Love this channel and i can totally relate to the fact that we sometimes unintendedly become a content creator/KZbinrs even though our primary business is something else. That name thingy is so relatable when people see a content creator on street, they don't remember the creator name rather a company name. Which i guess is fine as it means brand awareness. Anyway, i hope your other team continue working on updating the software as well (as we love to use it for our media kit and report presentations). I can see you doing really well in the tech, productivity and content creator knowledge. I think that is where you can pitch your product (slidebean) to content creators too. They can use it for creating media kit from their website or may be get payment from customers directly inside your platform. I think i need to shut up now and do some work myself. Well i wish your team all the best. Keep rocking with amazing content as always. Much love and wishes from the land down under.

I'm glad this video finally came. This duality across YT and product (and YT as product versus YT as funnel) was always under my understanding about Slidebean as well. Maybe, given the size of your community, in the future you might use it to bootstrap other types of your products and tests its adoption. Keep up the good work and salute from Brazil! :)

Ha! This makes me glad for finally making this video. We did (finally) understand that most of you in this community are not Slidebean-Product customers, so there's no real point in pushing that too you. If you discover it organically, great. As an entrepreneur, a KZbin channel is a superpower: access to a free audience to launch new products. When we have a new product to launch, we will; but in the meantime- it's just about making the audience even bigger.

I find that I really enjoy ask off the series I have encountered, thus far. Company Forensics, What’s the Catch, Tech Nomad, and Millennials Decoded (I am an early Gen X, with a Millennial daughter and Gen Z son so I have a lot of perspective). I find the way you present to be very engaging and relatable. I find the research you do, and the clear foundation of knowledge to be both compelling and easily digestible. Your videos are interesting, which is not always a given. I tried to leave a comment on your El Salvador video, where you asked to compare it to your first Tech Nomad video, but my KZbin client froze and I lost the content. In summary, your growth in the Tech Nomad series is the change from starting out with a specific story to tell and the travel is really just a backdrop. But now you have an angle to investigate and let your experiences create the story. It is a far, far better approach and leaves room for surprises and side quests, on your path to the final story. Keep up the very good work.

Amazing, thanks for the insight. Sorry we don't pay that much attention to GenX, I don't seem to have that many in my immediate circle. You hit the nail on the head on how the Nomad videos develop. When we travel we don't have the story, we're just researching it as we go, and trying to document whatever we can. Caya

I just started watching your videos last year and they are amazing. I even send them to my friends. I am not in the tech industry or in Silicon Valley. I am in the energy sector from the southern part of the US. I say that just so you know the videos you make are interesting to people outside of tech. I enjoy the majority of you content but Millennials Decoded was how I got sucked in. I am early 30s and I talk about preparing for retirement and understanding Gen Z. Thanks for the great content.

It's funny what twists and turns life can throw you sometimes, eh? I think I started watching this channel in the Company Forensics era. I've always been interested in stories of how businesses go wrong or go right, though I have no real involvement in business myself. I love how well-made and informative your videos are, and I love how honest and unpretentious Caya is in his presentation. Those three points will keep me subscribed as I see what direction(s) you take the channel in next.

You didn't ask but what I like about this channel and its videos the most is that you seem to know and enjoy what you're talking about without sounding like a snob.

Slidebeans played a part in me becoming a youtuber, i am lucky enough to pivot into youtube using another income to experiment (medical background/company). Yes you did encourage entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts to click and listen to what slidebean had to say. So there is a venn diagram for content creator-tech startup-entrepenour. So yes, you have a loyal fanbase, and you will reach a million fans with this content style 👏 👌
