As a teacher, I would LOVE to have Everett in my class! What a sweet, bright and thoughtful little guy. The way he categorized the different sections of his review of the Halloween decoration and assigned numbers?!?! Wow! His teacher is going to think they won the student lottery! Lol! I am off to buy some tray buns and freeze sandwiches! Thank you. I wish we could get those Hawaiian buns here in Canada! With only one son, we are always throwing out sandwich meat that doesn't get used in time. This will save us some $$.

My family did the same thing for school/ work lunches. Had a Sunday night dinner of ham, chicken, roast. Then after dinner an assembly line to make the week of sandwiches to freeze for grab and go in the morning

we would make little pizzas with English muffins, lots of great samples, that worked out ice cream after the salsa, my sister in law would make extra pancakes freeze them individually and they could pop them in toaster for a quick breakfast.

I like your island stools! Everett great problem solver. Wait for after school to shop. Glad you figured out the sandwich thing. Everett could have half a plain bagel sandwich. Our schools are peanut free. Wish considered when I was in school. Just the scent gave me an attack and transfer from table despite wiped with dry paper towel equals epi pen. Thanks for sharing.

My friend does pbj for freezer she said that peanut butter on both sides makes the difference. Also on small cucumbers watch closely every I have talked to at one time or another they went bad fast. Praying y'all have a good school year.

Lol man I'm behind. I literally JUST saw this post of Everett & commented on that. Boy I'm behind. But I love these hauls!!! I had to get my Grandson who is in Pre K glue sticks online at Walmart bc everything was sold out in Montana where they live. So we just did a Walmart order. After $35 shipping is free. I love how you show everything ❤️ at Costco! He is so smart to say, he can do the trips AFTER school..lol that's right Everett! Smart boy! I giggled when he didn't want to go thru the cold and Mom said "do it for the fans" lol yes Everett..you have fans buddy!!! Oh PS Mom...I read if you wash the fruit/veg when you get home in Vinegar and Water soak it actually kills the spores that cause mold. W my Bananas 🍌 I actually take the fruit bag and tie it over the top of the banana it keeps them from ripening top fast. For the bread leftover add an apple too. It's basically Bread Pudding which is delicious w apple or banana

I hope he loves school. I love his reviews at Costco ❤️ As far as buses and the driver shortages, we have the same issues in northern Indiana. You never know from day to day if you’ll have a bus. My mom has to have my nephew on the bus at 6:20 and there have been days he didn’t get home until after 4pm due to waiting on a driver from another route to get back and take those kids home.

Weekday shopping trips aren’t too bad in the evenings if you go in the middle of the week, hopefully it works out for you two. The plain bagels are a great opportunity for Chef Everett to come up with some fun toppings for different spreads and jams. Cinnamon and raisins with peanut butter is a delicious way I personally like to spruce up a boring bagel.

Different lunch idea: flour tortilla, spread cream cheese on it, little salsa, fresh spinach, and your choice of lunch meat, roll it up and slice it! Nice little pin wheel type sandwiches

This was a delightful beginning to the school year. I loved stopping by & shopping with you "2" on occasion.. Loved the "Oh Snap" pickles you said you loved @ $1.49. Well, I found out I liked them too. I was thinking of you. The coconut water taste look on Everet, priceless. I can't find Maple Leaf cookies here in Independence, Va. or in Sparta, N.C. Use to get a box I think by DARE @ $2.99. I bought 1-2 that year I found them @ Walgreens in Sparta, N.C.. Never seen again. At least not the stores I frequented. They were so good.
