Just discovered your KZbin-channel and I’m so encouraged! I’m a pastorswife in a small country in Europe and I loved to see someone just like me. We really have a lot in common, even our hairstyle 😉. I’m raising a big family too, love to bake and be at home with the children. But it is absolutely not common in our country to stay home. When you stay at home instead of working outside the home, you have to pay 6 times more taxes. So you really are punished for staying at home. But we still choose to do so. And I could’t be happier! Thankful that I have such a good, faithful and supportive husband. But I just wanted to say that it truly was a balm for my (sometimes lonely) heart to watch your video’s and to see that I’m not alone. hi! Im from sweden. I stay at home too even if noone else here does that. We dont get penalty taxes for that though...but living on one income is tough, we are high taxed normally ...but we wouldnt have it any other way for our family=)

Oh my! Taxed more to stay home! I am so sorry! We have 7 kids and 1 on the way. We get child tax credit for each child here in the US, which does help. Living off of one income is hard. I gave up my job 10 years ago for good to stay home with our kiddos.

You probably get this a lot but I genuinely don't know how you do so much 🤯. The baking alone, but also caring for and homeschooling so many kids. Hosting these parties. Like are you hiding a nanny somewhere or? 😂 Maybe your secret is what you shared at the end, that you get yourself organized for the week! I mean even prepping all the baked goods alone, you must have a larger sourdough starter than I have because I only have enough to make a few loaves of bread, then have to feed it and wait til I have more of it to bake in another day or two. Could you talk about your sourdough starter (feeding schedule, container size, etc) and how you prep your stuff and your baking schedule? You mentioned you kept some in the fridge, I never do that for fear it will mess up the rising. But I'm still pretty new!

Our wild raspberries are coming on and ripening so fast! I know one thing I'll be making soon! Those rolls looked amazing! My husband prefers the cinnamon so I'll be making a double batch and send some extras off to friends or family. Also, I love that tortilla press!
