@@OmniKoneko i enjoyed the job well enough. It wasn't particularly difficult and it was nice not having to deal with customers since the store was closed. Only major pain with it was it being overnight. I can't flip flop my sleep schedule so it made it kinda annoying on my days off when I needed to do various things at normal times.

I think anyone who who more than a casual user would get great use out of that quick change mechanisim. I work backstage in theater and we do need to swap blades fairly regularly. Heck, when I use to work in fast food, I used one to break down tons of boxes every night.

Thanks for letting me know that song is in this video so I can be prepared to skip it. It’s already horrible without them making it even more cringe lol. That song just makes me want to cut my ears off so i can’t hear it and gouge my eyeballs out so I can’t see the screen. Whenever I hear that song it feels like someone playing frequencies harmful enough to kill an elephant directly into my ears with subwoofers and at the same time somebody squeezing my balls with a hydraulic press. If someone ever plays it in the same room as me or close enough to me that I can hear it I’m beating your ass.

Being someone who worked construction, i used dewalt earbuds for a bit. You get used to them, but for the price the sound isnt bad, and comfort is decent. The battery life is what i loved about it. Listen for 5 hours, charge during break, and listen the next 5 hours. But some days i was able to go the full day non stop

When I worked as a truck-unloader/shipment processor, and stocked shelves...that box blade would be super helpful. since we would go through blades sooo much...but the company wouldn't approve of the lack of safety..all the guys/gals would be playing with them lol. Im sure there's remodel/construction jobs that could or do use it?

I work in construction and I’m changing my utility blades usually at least once a week! And being able to change to a hook blade does seem kinda useful, even thought it seems no different than what I currently do and thats have two knives

as a construction worker/ flooring installer. i buy kobalt 100pk utility blade from lowes about bi monthly. when you use the blades to cut flooring ontop of concrete it kills blades quickly. i can easily go through 3-4 razor blades a day at work

Would love to see yall cover the dewalt "headset" hearing protection ear muffs with Bluetooth capabilities. almost bought it but i ended up buying a similar "headset" by 3M because it was cheaper. 3M one was pretty solid the sound quality is definitely no gaming headset level of good but it blocks out most outside noise

So I worked at Lowe’s for a couple months back in 2022 and we had just gotten those box cutters, I’m in a very gun friendly state and I saw that and had to buy it. I got it for like 15 bucks with my discount and still use it almost daily. I think it’s meant for carpets but I work at a gas station and use it to open boxes. It’s great with the regular blade for opening most boxes and I use the hook blade on anything that could be damaged and so far I have never cut any products accidentally. It’s also so much fun to play with too lol

You still didn't get the Black & Decker Battery... the one that attaches to power tools like drills, but also has a USB port in it for your phone, so you can, you know, charge your phone from your drill while building your babies crib or something. If you can't find the B&D one, Greenworks also has one.

Lowes used to have free shipping for MyLowes members, and I used it frequently to have stuff shipped to me. They did away with the free shipping, and I haven't bought from them since. Walmart and Amazon got all my business after that. I still wonder if I'm the reason Lowes did away with free shipping..I need something dumb like 2 screws and theyd FedEx it to me. Granted Amazon and Walmart deliver stuff like that within hours now.

I find Dewalt's mobile accessories decent, albeit somewhat expensive. The lifetime warranty is a valuable feature, allowing easy replacements. The earbuds have an unusual sound signature, but they're average quality. If you're a Dewalt enthusiast, sticking to their products makes sense.
