If my dad was alive he’d love your videos. He’d a small haulage company and looking after his lorries was a priority…the livery on the rigs got touched up every Sunday. When I travel on the motorway it’s not fancy cars that I look for but the fabulous livery on the rigs. Great entertainment. Thank you.

On point with the track not looking new, it’s most likely not new. More often than not, rail replacement in sidings and yards is life expired mainline rail steels (but perfectly safe for continued use at the much lower yard/sidings speed limits).

Hi, the reason the bin has a bar on it is to stop the bin splaying out when loaded, I would say, don't cut it off, and chuck it, cut it and then pin it so you can just remove it when you need to put a machine in the back, that way your bin will last a lot longer.🤔🤔👍

Daniel. 39:25. Ratchets are wrong my friend. The ratchet should always be on the near side of the vehicle. That way if you have to check or tighten one up on the road then you’re not stood in live traffic doing so!

@@DanielWoolley Back when I drove a late 1950s ERF 7 ton flat bed with a 5 pot Gardner and super deluxe crash gearbox. No power steering or brakes, but it did have cruise control a stick that fitted under the dash and held the gas pedal flat out at 40mph, downhill with the wind behind us. Ratchet straps had not been invented so it was ropes and sheets and chains for heavy lumps.

Have you had a look at demountable options on legs? ECON engineering make them at Ripon in North Yorkshire, there are lot of options from hot box for tarmac, gritters, tipper bodies. Econ also make rippers for ripping up tarmac and concrete and 3 way tip truck bodies

Thinking all they have to do to make the train unloader is to add a Hydrolic extender boom to unload the 2nd line because basically it’s a tracked Grab then you can have over reach being good for the yard
