I believe the lesson to be taken from this episode is that you should always sell general stuff, like vehicles that everyone can use in almost any kind of work or business, in auctions and you should sell the more specific vehicles for specific works in another platform, preferably not the auction where the buyers are buying to sell someone else and not use the vehicle.

It's about the volume of vehicles in an urban area, and it should be noted that other cities have introduced emissions controls, Bath and Birmingham for instance! London has a particularly difficult problem with a larger urban area and so many more people wanting to drive within that area. Obviously in sparsely populated rural areas there isn't such a build up of toxic fumes, but as we all know the country is aiming for zero tailpipe emissions. So here's a perfect example - my thirteen litre 1999 Daf 85 tractor can be fixed with any spanner set (with a million km's on the clock), whilst my auto 11 litre DAF 85 tractor registered in 2018 requires a complete gearbox change at 55,000 km's (still well within warranty thank heavens) because the best brains at DAF and ZF couldn't figure what was wrong with it. Daniel, couldn't you have put reserves on your items so you'd at least have taken the grab home.
