0:47 I read about Juan Flynn. In spite of The families many attempts to intimate him, the guy did not flinch, and delivered a damning testimony for the prosecution. The guy was tough as nails!
@crazyralph63865 ай бұрын
Yep, and this in spite of him knowing that the Manson Family likely killed veteran stuntman Donald Shea, as they blamed him for the police raid that occurred before the LaBianca murders. Men were built differently back then. Tough as nails.

what are the best books about it. ironically helter skelter is the best written one but i think the explanation from it is completely unpalatable. I tried to read the one from tex but it's horribly written. the one from that diane or duane or what was her name is just a quick way to make money and her victimizing herself. i read some of reflexion which is ok. what else can you recommend?

"The Manson Family: More To the Story" by H. Allegra Lansing is very good
@corvettefever3602 күн бұрын
@blayneaugust she is a clown! I originally followed her until she just went off track. Now she's considered some expert when she's real new to it & just throws whatever to see if it sticks. Ironically this is even how most of the Manson community feels about her. From the Manson groupies to the investigators who been around for 15 -25 plus years

That's Juan who talks with reporters. He asked my cousin how to become a rural mail carrier in the Simi Hills. He grew up in the Panama Canal Zone and had recently been discharged from the military. My cousin and I rented a place behind Garden of the Gods with the streets named after Indians. We'd use the payphone by the corral for incoming calls. There was a ranch hand with a gimp arm who died just before he was to testify in July,1970. Does anyone know what happened? You couldn't trust the back ranch girls to give them rides. They'd shoplift, running out of SEARs, yelling their old man tried to beat them up..,stuff like that. Poor George lost what little business he had after the December 1969 arrests. We were able to buy old props for next to nothing so he could feed the horses.
