even though i'm not a mom yet, seeing your thought process reminds me so much of what my mom was like growing up. getting up before me, always seeming like she was ready for everything the day had ahead of me, so much! i love seeing this side of you and also reflecting on it too

I’m a first time mom and my daughter is 2.5 and I don’t think I will ever get back to who I was. I’ve learned to embrace who I’ve become and adjust to my new life as a mom and let God lead me ❤

It’s so wonderful that Connor likes the outdoors! Such a great place to learn! I’ve been getting my 7 year old cousin to help me plant my garden this year and she’s been having a lot of fun. She lives in an apartment building so it’s good to get her out in my garden! She was putting her hands in the soil and saying, “it feels like I’m in love!” What a wonderful connection between child and earth to witness. So wonderful that Connor will get those moments of connectedness with nature so early!

I have a 3 year old and I'm 5 months pregnant with baby #2! There are great days and very hard days. You are SO wise already when it comes to knowing what you need and I'm over here just figuring it out now in the last 8 months. I struggle with taking care of myself and giving too much of my energy without replenishing. I'm saving this video in my personal playlist to remind myself (especially during postpartum) what I need to be a good mom. Every single one of these healthy habits is what I need to be the best version of myself. Glad I found someone on here that is so similar to me!! Thank you for being honest and transparent - you are sooo relatable for me.

Such an inspiring video! As a first time mum to a 7 week old, life is still very hectic and although I love my little bundle of joy more than anything, it does feel like I lost a part of myself at the moment. It's good to see that things will get easier and we do eventually find time to do what we used to enjoy pre-pregnancy! Thanks Michelle for showing us those snippets of your life, it's so comforting to watch 😊

I also wanted to say I resonate deeply with all the things you say about motherhood, and though I´m not a mom yet, I know it is one of my biggest dreams, and not everyone has the bravery to be open about challenges is such a sweet way. So i´m just really thankful for you just keeping up with youtube in this new season of life. (PD: I love ALL your clothes!)

Do you ever use a crockpot? I love mine. It makes cooking very little effort on days when I feel exhausted. I use it like twice a week lol I also like using it to meal prep. Sometimes I just put chicken and broth in there and then shred the chicken and add it to salads.

The bike seat should be in line with your hip bone when you’re standing, and you’ll have a slight bend in your knees. Just FYI! Needed this motivation, I’m due in June and am already craving getting into a better routine and feeling more like myself again ❤

tip with the peloton set up: the seat is supposed to be hip height and then it should be the length of your forearm away from the resistance dial. atleast that’s how soul cycle does it!

Does the baby sleep in his room? My baby is just 2 months but I am still struggling at night with making sure he is breathing. I don’t know if it’s a first mom thing, but I spend a lot of the night checking up on him even though he sleeps right next to us. But anywho, thanks for sharing!! I love watching your vlogs and seeing what is ahead on my own journey as a first time mom, or things I can implement myself. Yess those 30 minute peloton rides are everything post partum! I love Tunde’s classes, Dennis Morton, Alex Toussand (these are upbeat and keep you engaged).
@michellereedg8 ай бұрын
Yes he is! I definitely worried about that at first, but he’s always woken up frequently in the night so I don’t think about it much now haha… helps that his room shares a wall with ours. Everyone’s different though! ❤️

I don’t even treat myself and buy things that I want. I can hardly afford to buy things that I need. My goal in life is to have children so idk what I’m gonna do.
