After we had #5 my husband said we are not having 6 don't even talk to me about it. I just started praying. Several months later he came home from work and simply said he met a new guy at work with 6 kids and I knew we were on the way to having another. We now have 8. Thanks for the video! 🌻

I have 3 kids under 5, and people act shocked when I say I’m done right now but not forever. So often motherhood is looked at like a burden, instead of a blessing. And it’s refreshing to hear someone with more kids than me loving being a mother and loving her kids. ❤

That feeling your described when you saw you're eldest daughter for the first time after delivery where you knew you couldn't let anyone else care for her... It's such an under discussed reality that it's a strong instinct to care for you're own kids. ♥️♥️

Wonderful content! We, as Christian women, seem to be very reticent about speaking of sex, women’s reproductive choices and issues, health overall and the struggles of motherhood. As long as we are respectful, not vulgar, we should be able to ask and answer these questions and concerns with each other, I feel that those mental health and physical struggles of Christian women would be diminished if we spoke about issues we have with other Christian women.

Sleep together, and “ spooning” together, is a way of alone time, with sex…or with out… it was comforting and rewarding to both my husband and I. Love the skirt look on you, I notice that a while back. I’ve seen women on KZbin who only wear skirts with leggings underneath for day working out side. I’m a fan for many years, thank you for taking time with us❤️

I'm the most happiest when all my chicks are back in the nest, how I'm going to be when it's their time to leave home is scary. I sort the laundry into 3 piles dark white and mixed I do one load aday and fold as soon as they come out of the dryer, the clothes are not so creased I also have baskets for everyone as it's folded it goes into their basket, they take their basket and put it away. This really helps me stay on top.

We implemented early bed times with our first child and we are so glad that we did. Our kids are used to it and it allows us to get the rest of our homestead and house chores done and gives the adults a small window of alone time. Before we did that, we were putting our child down to bed close to when we went to bed and we are so glad we made the switch! 😇
@BirdyMum

We do that with our toddler and will with our next child due soon. My mumma friends mostly put their children down late at night and get no time with their husbands or to unwind but it just wasn't working in my home. I've also started getting up extra early to have my time with just hubby of a morning and get a head start on chores. It means a bit less sleep but since I'm not feeling so rushed and stressed I find it's worth it.

What time do your kids go to bed and wake up?
@Aprons.Overalls
@Aprons.Overalls Жыл бұрын
@@ThisMamasHouse We put our toddlers to bed at 7 PM and they wake up between 7-8 AM. We rarely miss bed time and they like the routine. It allows us to be present with them during the day and provides us with some time in the evening and morning to complete our homesteading and homemaking tasks that are more of a challenge when the children are awake. 😇
@jkp62
@jkp62 Жыл бұрын
My children had a bedtime of 7:30 when they were toddlers and that got bumped to 8pm when they entered school age, we generally had an hour or so after the kids went to bed and I was in bed at 9pm and my husband would stay up for his quiet time with God and be in bed by 10pm a it worked for us and we still do this as empty nesters. And until they moved out of our home, we all had a quiet hour after lunch- no need for a nap if they did t want to but we all went to our rooms to just have a mind rest as I call it. My kids wake up time each morning was 7am but I woke at 4am to exercise, shower and then my time with God, my husband woke at 6am and we would have our time together to pray, go over our day and any bills to be paid before he left for work. Routine was essential when raising our kids and they thrived on routine as did I, not to say there weren’t spontaneous moments but because of the routine I set up, it allowed more free time for me and the kids to have fun or go out and discover our town.

🌻Wonderful video! I’m looking forward to the one on skirts and dresses only. I made the same decision because I don’t want to “wear the pants” in our marriage and wearing pants seems to encourage that mentality, though you could argue to what degree it affects your mindset. Sometimes I get filled with doubt and feel like I’m exaggerating the importance of it and that I look like a frumpy grandma! It’s so wholesome to see someone publicly committing

Respectfully Tabitha I don't think it's wise to tell women to... submit to your husband when not in the mood....this is 2023...I am a Catholic woman that buried one husband and met a widower....I know God had a hand in our meeting...I wasn't interested in another Marriage after my loss..I am thankful but never would I submit EVER....it borders abuse.

Hi Tabitha! Been following you for a while. Wasn’t sure what to expect from the tittle of this video but since I connect with you I gave it a watch with an open heart. To preface I am Jewish, and child free by choice at this point in my life (although I’ve spent a lot of time being a nanny) I’m also in a partnership of 5+ years. Love this share. Also, we share an ideology which is if your partner is trying to create intimacy to go on and engage with it because I’ve never “not gotten in the mood” and I think it’s a really special feeling to know your partner is feeling satisfied. We’ve also found this idea around intimacy goes both ways. Anyway ❤

🌻Thank you so much for this message! I definitely need to submit more to my husband and care for his needs. We’ve been together since 14 and we’re 32 now. It’s been one heck of a journey and have just recently found God and Jesus in 2022. Reading at least one verse everyday and pray upon wakening and at night. Always making sure to give thanks, to follow with love and obedience, and to ask for strength and patience when needed. That’s it! My husband and I are currently trying to grow our family of 4 and it’s hard for me to even want to pray and ask Him. As much as I want another baby, I believe it’s only right when He decides that and when it’s on His term. Again, thank you for such a beautiful video. I think I may actually want to start wearing more dresses and skirts now. I’ve never liked the feeling or look of pants anyhow. What do you suggest for women who live more northern though, like during winter months? 😅 I like to take walks with the sunrise and sunset, maybe pants then? Lol.

Why do you have to submit to your husband? Are you not equal? My husband and I are both religious, been married 20 years and have 5 kids. He’s a great person and is secure enough not to need someone to submit to him. We laugh daily and help each other out. I love his advice and his level headedness and always consult him with a big decision but we respect is mutual and we submit to each other when needed. I will never resent him as I feel respected and would not be able to ‘submit’ to him but we are obedient to God only.

🌻thank you sweet mama. I have five from teen to a five month old baby. I know I will never be done! My hubby isn’t up for more, and I am now (a very fit) 41…. I still pray each day for guidance and things to go as God wishes, and he knows my heart and that I would love just at least one more! I am a number six of six and perhaps that is playing a part in my heart’s desires….. my husband is not a Christian but he honours my faith and I do pray for him. All love to you xx ps I also am that mama that wants to do it myself - just as well as there’s not a ton of support around me. But I wouldn’t want someone else interfering too much in how I do things! 🤣 I need to find more time for hubby and me. I know he sometimes feels left out of my attention simply due to busy ness (my eldest has special needs which take up much of the night also), so this is one thing I really need to work on.

The creighton model is a great NFP method as well for those searching. It is the only standardized method, that I’m aware, of that OBGYNS can get further training in. This can help them help you learn more about your health, fertility, and detect other health related concerns all by interpreting your charting. So wonderful we’ve used it for 7 years. Blessings!

Hi Tabitha. I'm Roman Catholic too! But over time I saw how the natural birth control is too a way of telling God "Not Now" and from what I know this natural family planning is used only in the extreme cases like if it's life or death. I agree with you in everything else because I have 11 babies of my own.

If you have teenagers from outside the family helping, boys as well as girls should be included. First time watching you. I hope you teach boys and girls the same regarding household chores and responsibilities.

What a great video! You are very wise godly. I love listening to your thoughts and advice :). I also love skirts and dresses, and wear them mostly (winter is a bit hard, though). I'm looking forward to that video.

Great video!☀️🙏 I struggled emotionally and physically after my miscarriage and my (as of a few days ago😊) fiancé and I are going to be beginning the process of fostering/adopting in 2024. My dream is being a stay at home mom to 2-4 kids but as of now we just have our dog! I genuinely love watching your videos and find peace from them, so thank you for doing what you do!💕 I have a primary of Melancholic and a secondary of Phlegmatic.

We use NFP as well! And it's wonderful! No side effects, and above all, it strengths the bond between husband and wife. My husband does all the charting, (im lazy) he literally knows when I'll have my period before I do 😂😂😂
