I look forward to my laundry time as well. I will make a hot cup of coffee after putting the baby down for a nap and then sit down on our floor and quietly fold laundry and pray. Yes to the laundry baskets! I saw yours and thought I love the style and why not have something cute when you're doing a task you don't always love?! I have always found them at Goodwill! Very inexpensive. I recently started praying while doing the dishes or laundry, a beautiful thing to practice. Thank you for your lovely videos and I am speaking love/praying over your family ❤️

One thing helped me was using it as a moment to recognise I have laundry to do because ive been able to get such beautiful clothing for my children. And putting appreciation into the clothes as im folding them. May sound weird but I find it relaxing handling the various fabrics and remembering how sweet my toddler was twirling in that dress the other day

Loved this video! We just moved out of an apartment into a house. We had to use the laundromat at our apartment- which meant walking our clothes to the machines and paying to wash the clothes. The machines often didn't work either! Now we have a washer and dryer in our home, and it is such a blessing! I've had one in a previous house before, and it can be easy to take it for granted. Now I thank God often for these washer and dryer ❤

Hi Milena, This video made such a shift in my mindset towards laundry and I’m so curious to see what more videos you will put up (around these kind of topics). I’ve already watch you grocery one and I honestly love these kind of videos. The way you explain it all and talk about it’s so helpful! It’s like it’s expected of us to know how to do it all but it’s not really talked about how people do it, the best way of doing or how to find your own system. So thank you so much for sharing this! You mentioned that you do every task and household chore as a habit with a whole routine set for a week so you don’t have to spend time on trying to get everything done it’s just part of a routine. My guest bed stays covered in loads of clean laundry because i do the laundry and need somewhere to put the clean stuff so i can wash more and then never put them away until like 2 weeks later 🤦‍♀️ dont judge. So thank you so much for these tips. My youngest is 8 months old and in the clingy phase. He wants me to always be holding him. He hates sitting in a pack n play or walker, so he either wants me to hold him or crawl around getting into everything. So taking 5-10 min putting away one basket of clothes is more realistic than taking an hour to put away loads and loads of laundry 😅. Ugh and i LOVE the idea of praying over the clothes!!!!!!! I never thought about doing that! So amazing. Im going to do that from now on. 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

I do a load or two a day too but I do it differently. I do like items together - my husband and my clothes once a week, the kids clothes about 1-2 times a week, the towels once a week, and then I do cloth diaper laundry about 3 times a week. I only do sheets once every month because it is such hard work for me to make all the beds. It helps to not have to put away laundry in several rooms. Just one place for each day.

I’m curious if for anyone else using dryers is not common? I’m from Melb, Australia and at least within my circle none of us use dryers (even if we have them!) and they are culturally seen as wasteful. We hang our washing outside in summer and on clothes horses inside in winter. Takes a lot more time and means a load a day is not quite so accessible!

I used to be like the worst with laundry with piles I needed to put away everywhere. Then last year we moved somewhere where we're just here for a year and the place we're renting has the laundry in the kitchen so i can always see it. Because of that as soon as we moved in I started a "1 laundry basket for everything and do a load every time its full" this is usually 1 a day and it has literally changed my life!!!!!

This is amazing, I love this. I really need this as a SAHM of 2 and a 3rd coming. The only hurdle I need to figure out is that I live in a 2 bedroom small apartment and we have to pay $3 for a wash and a dry down the hallway. We bought a portable washer for cloth diapers and can do other clothes too but it’s constantly filling it up and emptying it and takes all day. If anyone reads my comment and has suggestions people tell me! I’m striving to be a better mother and homemaker.

I experienced the same thing with doing dishes 🥴 I used to HATE doing them until I heard someone say dishes were something to be thankful for bc that means you and your family ate that day. Something so simple, yet I was so blind to seeing 🥺 I repented and the Lord forgave me and gifted me with a heart of Thanksgiving. I now use my time doing dishes as a time of prayer to God, giving thanks, worshipping Him, and giving intercession for those I love 🥰 I hear posture has changed so much and now I love doing the dishes!
