Great video! Awesome race Mary! I've done a lot of runs in the middle of the night, and I love being in the dark, running by myself. I even ran 50 miles for my 50th birthday from 12AM to 10:30AM, so it was quite surreal. I think that I might enjoy the Thailand Bangkok Marathon in the middle of the night, maybe my wife and I should do it next year. Keep up the great videos Ben and Mary!

Congratulations Mary, great video, running in the dark feels like it should be cool but it does feel weird. Also there aren’t many people out so it can feel quite lonely and surreal, can’t imagine what the marathon would be like! Well done and totally keep that cheque 😂

Firstly, congratulations Mary 😀🏃‍♀️👍…. Secondly, I’ll always remember years ago, just out of the blue , decided to go for a night run ( 11:30 pm time frame), and it was only to be about 3-miles…. It felt so good, made it a total of about 6-miles instead. It was so peaceful, and just really enjoyed that night run.

Sooo cool Mary!! I already wrote it but I wanna say again you are such an inspiration! I am gonna run my second half marathon in Riga in May and hope to manage in less then 2 hours 15 minutes. For both of you this must sound really slow but I would be so so happy to achieve this goal since I've never been sportive in my life but running is a true passion now :)

You need a room just for your trophies Mary!! Fantastic, well done 👏 I ran the midnight sun marathon in Norway which starts at 8:30pm and I finished at gone midnight but it’s light all night so slightly different. Messes with your body clock though and makes fuelling tricky.

Hey, well done Mary.! Terrific achievement. What a great pace. I’d be delighted with that but I’m just a middle of the pack runner in his 50s! I heard you say near the start that you had to make sure you didn’t get lost on the route. Was that ever a real worry or were the marshals always there to guide you? Amazing videos. Shame the Thai government still seem so enthralled with COVID theatre. The mask wearing outdoors seems inconsistent & nonsensical at best. I’m more than confident that if you’re running a half marathon in sub 1:40 (well running one at all) you certainly aren’t suffering from a respiratory infection 🤣.
