Apart from maybe 0 and 1, if you select any natural n and ask about the "mind of an n year old", there won't be a definitive answer as to its characteristics. Humans don't work like that. You didn’t have to say you’re not a parent, it’s obvious. When your child has a disability like this, all your hopes and dreams for that child are lost. They will never have a career, a spouse and children of their own, a LIFE. Not like a puppy at all.

You can have a happy life without working, without have a spouse or a children. Not everyone want to have a spouse or a children. The goal of life is not to do like other people but it is to do what you want to do.
