Sir David Jason On 'Shock' Of ‘Boycie’ Actor John Challis' Death | This Morning

Lovely Jubbly! From Only Fools and Horses to Open All Hours - Sir David Jason has had ‘A Del of A Life’. In his most recent memoir, which is now available in paperback, the TV legend says his five-decade career is all down to being a grafter and remaining kind. Sir David joins us to reveal more ‘lessons he’s learnt along the way’, and how he almost left his iconic role as Del Boy early, as well as remembering his former co-star John Challis, otherwise known as ‘Boycie’, who has sadly passed away.

Mate I grew up in finsbury park in the late 80s early 90s when London was mint! Full of wannabe gangsters and foreigners now, watching fools and horses takes me back to my childhood and propa london

I can understand why (unfortunately) the pictures of John Challis were blurred, but considering ITV plc own the rights to Yorkshire TV programmes I don’t understand why they blurred the clip from A Touch of Frost.

he clearly loved John and also being worth around £10 MILLION i don`t think he needs the money. But i`m sure that he wants to look after his loved ones when its his turn, none of us will live forever. So i can`t say i agree with you.
