Nine-year-old Nicky Beard lost his life while holidaying in Cornwall with his family. But rather than remember him, his family decided to forget him, and never spoke of him again. Almost 40 years later, Nicky's brother Richard Beard decided to try and remember the brother the family pretended didn't exist.

Our child died in 1977 and we have always talked about him and celebrated his life. Although his death was the most horrific painful experience /, our love for him was shared with his siblings. Even today our grandchildren know all about him

I can kind of relate to this story because I know exactly what it's like to lose a sibling because my younger brother Patrick passed away from a heart attack in his sleep from a alcohol overdose on August 2nd 2020 he was just 28 years old when he passed away 😢💔
