Confirmation! I flew to Minnesota and back to DC, and then New Orleans and back to DC, and to Seattle and back to DC with the small Calpak Clear Cosmetics bag fully packed and they allowed it through TSA no questions every time!

@@r.and.s.23 I have the small. Im not sure if TSA would allow the larger ones for a carry on. Granted, they seem to be more 'laxed on liquids these days. I'd probably go with a small to be safe :).

Missed these videos! I started using multiple pouches and was amazed at how much room it saved in my suitcase. I use a collapsible makeup brush holder I got off Amazon. It works well when traveling.

I’ve used this small calpak case for many trips and it fits all my toiletries. However, i love that its-clear so you can see what’s pack in the front or back of the bag. I usually take this one when I know I have counter space so I can have it lying flat on the counter. Otherwise I take a hanging bag. It does have a handle though. It’s really well made. I have the large one too but rarely use that one. I agree I wish they had a medium size.

That was something I realized too! Most deodorants are 3 ounces or less, so I don't see the need to buy a travel size deodorant, I just bring my big one from home

Super easy to clean! It’s not as passive as throwing it in the washing machine, but it wipes down nicely with a disinfectant wipe! Or even a rag with warm water!

With precheck you shouldn’t ever be asked to remove your liquids in domestic travel. This bag (most bags!) would work for you!

I’ve never had issues with it! Even just flew two and from Italy (where my pre-check isn’t valid) and it was totally fine.

I know it’s a late response, but maybe it’ll help another person - any airport I’ve traveled through in Europe (and Ive been through dozens) has required liquids in a clear ziplock bag, in some cases, I’ve even had to transfer from ziplock to the one provided from them. I’ve been eyeing this bag forever, and that’s my main reason why I haven’t bought it yet bc I’m mostly in Europe traveling, but I think if you’re mainly using it for the US you’ll be fine 😊

It worked perfectly fine on the last two flights I took! I also have TSA Precheck, so if you’re unsure, you could always reference the TSA website before purchasing, just in case.

I'm sure she has TSA Pre-check. As long as they adhere to the 3.4 oz rule, they can pretty much pack in whatever toiletry bag they want. It is an unofficial perk of Pre-check. But everyone else has to follow the quart rule.

No they don’t have to be in a baggie. Any clear-size bag that’s similar in size to a quart-sized baggie.

Don't you have to keep your liquids separate from everything else? I feel like other liquids such as lotion or body wash weren't included and putting makeup in with that stuff doesn't make sense for me...

What’s nice about packing is that you can make it totally personal! I was just showing people how I personally pack. I also never include shampoo/conditioner/lotion because hotels or Air BnBs provide them a majority of the time!

I'm thankful it's TSA approved, but I always have that worry that they (the TSA people) will be like "yeah, no... that bag just won't do" because I've heard it's happened with other TSA approved bags.

I have TSA Precheck which doesn’t require time to remove anything from my bags, take off my shoes, etc. I’ve never had a problem traveling with this bag, though!

@@MaggiesTwoCents that is extremely relieving as well. I also have the TSA ask app thing and they also said that it should be okay so my fingers are crossed. First time flier here, and I'm nervous as it is because I have social anxiety really bad and it just got worse with the covid restrictions and such. I'm just scared they'll be like "YOU!" And I'll just have a full on mental meltdown from stress before even making it on the plane! 🤣 probably dumb, I know but that's how my brain works.

@@aphrodisiaxe The very most they will do is go through your toiletries and throw away any individual products that are too big. You definitely won't lose everything, so stakes are low. Remember that! Flying for the first time can be intimidating, but there's a lot of world to see! I hope you enjoy your first trip! You've got this!

I have TSA Pre✔️ and they are more lenient, when it comes to the clear travel bag. I will say international is a different story. Many counties are extreme when it’s comes to the clear bag size. I’ve been to several places that made me empty my bag and put everything into their quart bag. When I stay at a hotel I like to bring bag the complimentary toiletries and give them to people that are unhoused. I was coming back from an international trip and had to toss most of them out. I was going to just check my bag but I was irritated at that point.
