He actually auditioned for BTS with his sax, plus, dancing, singing, and rapping; AND he said once that he wanted to be a saxophonist, although his accent made saxophonist sound a bit more like "sexy porn star" which RM quickly corrected. 😂😂 #suchacutiethatV 💜

i love that he is having fun...and the band members clearly encouraged him to play and practice...which is amazing...coz he normally doesnt have the confidence to play it....He gave up on it few years ago..hey i like knowing that whether this is album hits billboard awards or wins any awards for him..he doesnt seem to care..his joy for his music clearly shines through...he is enjoying the process every step of this way..and this is what will make him grow..so i will not compare him to any other bts members or kpop members.. This is V and he is happy. Frankly i love this album because it really shows V's warmth, comfort and joy. The music is no joke either

確かにテテはＭＶでは、水担当でしたね、得意な分野でした。あの撮影の様子かなり過酷でしたが、テテは長く息止めができます。これは、もしかしたら、サックスで肺活量が多いからかもしれないですね。今またサックスを始めたそうです。　　トランペットは今からでは遅いと気づき、諦めたと話してました。彼のあこがれのジャズマンは片手にトランペットでした。

So we've seen Jacob play flute, saxophone and either the Soprano saxophone or the Oboe I can never tell the difference with those 2 as they look and sounds very very similar to each other. There are 4 main Saxophones but there are others. My friends carries parts around with herr mouth pieces, reeds just as I carry string, plectrums, capo's around with me for my guitar. We also carry cloths to wipe the strings down as we can get sweating hands especially in the summer and at concerts. You have to look after your instruments and yes I've let other's play my guitar but I will always take more than 1 with men when I'm on the road. I've had one get smashed on stage before now.

All reed instruments, like sax, clarinet, and bassoon, have reeds in them that you have to suck on and soak in spit before you can play. All brass instruments, like tuba, trombone, trumpet and french horn, have spit valves. The spit valve works exactly as you described at the end. You open it up and the spit just trickles out. I still never liked sitting near any of the brass instruments when I was in high school band, because the band hall floor was carpeted, so they usually just let it drain out on the floor and kept going. No effort at all to clean up all the spit. I played the flute, so I didn't have to deal with the spit or the reeds.

Roscoe - so many questions about instruments and spit - I can’t keep up!! You CAN swap floot head joints…but I wouldn’t because I’m squeamish! I know less about the woodwinds that require reeds (like clarinets, oboes, and saxophones). I know even less about brass instruments and their spit valves… 🤣

I'd posit Tae is out of practice 🎷 I was a clarinet player in Middle School (until School funding came down to "Choose Art or Music"). Reeds have come a long way from where they had to be wet with saliva, from what I understand, but its not as if Jacob is going to begrudge a man who can easily buy him a whole new sax, much less a new mouthpiece or box of replacement reeds. I do recall seeing French Horn and other brass players pull the spit valves mid-concert 🤢

I believe it’s an alto sax and it’s difficult to play. I think he took a few lessons as a middle schooler. In any case pretty decent. I love the courage and “V” 🎷… and yes I’m a flutist (fluter)😂

People stop lying there will not saliva inside of the saxophone, people clean in front before using it, Taehyung cleaned when he was playing saxophone with his band mate at tv show 2016. You aren’t inhaling you are breathing in to the saxophone.

Okay.. That is a saxophone, classic one, and what is is playing it is what it is, it sounds low cause he plays low notes... As for practice, maybe he barele practiced while with Bts, but this would be his best "shape", the most he might have practiced and improved would be while working with this band, working on this album, preparing for this performances. He did tried to learn it as a child, not was never a saxophone player, so he is not out of shape
