Thank you so much! I will be making this very soon. You are such a patient teacher. If you have any other projects that you could show like blankets, other beanies or scarves, that would be really wonderful. I love this❤️, thank you again!

I have been crocheting for a while but this is the first tutorial that I’ve watched were I accidentally learned how the increase in the round works. Also the way you described the magic circle was great. I wish patterns were written more simply they seem to take the long way to get too the point. Would love to see more of your crochet projects.god bless.

Just learning crocheting. I will be watching your beginners videos. The beanie video has been what I'm looking for, along with basic scarf, and basic blanket. Can't wait to start. Thnx for sharing all your videos.

I'm so glad you make crochet videos too. I taught myself to crochet YEARS ago and I go through "phases" where I may make a lot of vinyl crafts, or painting crafts, or crochet crafts. But recently, I have lost my "cro-jo" which sucks because my crochet list of things to do is constantly growing. However, I find crocheting along with you really helps. I always struggle starting my Magic Circle, but you have explained it so well! I don't think I'll ever have a problem with it again! TYSM!!!! I love this video because HDC is my favorite. Are you on Ravelry? Cuz I'd love to friend you on there. P.S. Your nails are ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL (just like you!)!!!! I LOVE THEM!!! Keep on shining honey. Looking forward to your next video to see what you have in store!

Simple beanie. Love it thanks for showing detail and explaining as you go. ❤️❤️ I need to make an infant beanie. How do I downsize the stitches? I want to make beanies and donate to local hospitals.

I don't crochet. I have no intention of trying to learn how. Yarn and any needle, knitting included, is a disaster waiting to happen. Am I upset that Amber is doing a crochet tutorial? NO! My grandma crocheted and I loved that little woman more than life itself. She lived with us, said anything and everything that she wanted and had no mute or volume button. Amber would have loved all 4 foot 11 inches of her. She absolutely loved nothing more then riding around in my Volkswagen beetle bug when she could. We would sit and talk forever while she crocheted away. She's been gone for so long now but it still feels like yesterday. Her hands may have looked a little different from Ambers but watching and listening to her brings back some of the best memories of my life! And who doesn't need some happy these days! Thank you so much Amber for any and every video you do regardless of whether it's something someone does or not! I love ya for it!! ❤❤❤ p.s. I can do counted cross stitch all day long however 🥰

I like doing the continuous rounds. And it I have to stop and don’t remember what round I’m on if you count the “sets” of stitches. On round 5 there are 5 stitches per set - 3hdc followed by 2 hdc for a total of 5 stitches per set. ( round 10 would have 8 then 2 together) etc

Amber can you help me pretty please? I've finally mastered the double and half double stitches after a month of practicing, rewinding, pausing ect. I was never taught to read the patterns as a child either so when I wanted to get back into it after 30+ years later I was really lost. I ordered what was supposed to be a free simple pattern book with choice of yarn color because it was suppose to include the messy bun beanie but instead a regular beanie and other patterns I'll never use that took just one small skein of yarn they sent with it and billed me $4.95 the 2nd I clicked checkout! They did let you pick the "free" yarn color. It took over a month to get and I could only read as far as how many chain stitches🤷I had already started with DT yarn which I liked even after I got my few stitches down. But I have been hesitant to try to make a beanie for myself. I understood and followed every step just like all of your tutorials. I feel confident I can now make a beanie for sure. Ty💜 Is there anyway you could show me how to start the messy bun beanie. "My hair is too long to do anything with in the am while waking 2 kids up for homeschooling, 1 that's 7 and thinks she's a teenager and is a diva and tending to my little one so it's always in a bun even more so now" I just want my coffee n the kids ready n online, lol. I seen one with what looked like elastic hair tie (would that be the same as the magic ring just not tightened down?) Even so I don't know how to crochet off the hair tie. I really want mine to be a messy bun beanie💜💜 if it's something really simple n I'm just being a ditz and you don't have time to do a whole tutorial could you email me at tmills26726@yahoo.com. TFS you are awesome!
