You can also get little cards to attach to them that give more information to explain a person's disability etc. If you search for Sunflower Lanyards it should bring up the official website :) most large supermarkets are now stocking the lanyards and they're free :)

The struggle is real, I have ADHD, and sometimes the symptoms are not as obvious... one thing I know though, an ADHD’er cooking with someone with tourettes, would be “symbiotic” it’s the first time Baking held my attention! And we would quickly adapt and enjoy the spectrum of personality. On a serious note, I know how distressing our “traits” can be to neurotypicals, which can make us feel like failures! 😞 love to you and from my tribe, to yours! Rock on!
