‼️content warning for this video: this can be quite upsetting for people to watch who aren’t used to this kind of thing, no offence is taken if you cannot watch the whole thing‼️
⚠️also if you have tourettes/tics i recommend skipping this video. it contains harmful & severe tics that could trigger you, make your tics worse or give you new harmful tics and i would absolutely hate that.⚠️
-------------------------
hi everyone🧡 i have been really wondering whether to post this or not, it’s super vulnerable and i didn’t want to upset anyone, but i rarely show this side on youtube.
i always show baking, or just really light hearted things but that’s only like 15% of the time. the rest is pretty difficult.
i did a little video at the end to show you all that i am okay after tic attacks, it takes me a little while to recover, and i am sore and tired today.
but i’m so proud of myself for going to gymnastics after the attack and still getting things done🧡✨
it’s really important for me as an advocate to show all sides of Tourettes & PANDAS, even the sides that are hard to watch, because of course for me, it’s hard to actually go through it.
thank you for watching, yes i am okay🧡 lots of love🧡🐼

When your mom came in and put her arm between yours, it made me tear up. I'm sure you know how supported and loved you are.. if it weren't for them, you probably wouldn't have the courage to show this hard part of your life with the world. Thank you for showing us everything in the raw. You are helping people, always remind yourself that there can even be good that comes from this torture. 💛

I think it's super important that you shared this because it shows the other side of Tourette's and tics where it isn't fun and it isn't funny all the time. It can be really exhausting and really painful. I can't imagine going through this on a regular basis, you must get so tired. Thank you for sharing this vulnerable moment with us

So sorry you have to deal with this. I have a question for you if you wouldn’t mind answering. I have seizures and tics (I have PTD so I don’t have vocal tics and mine are caused from seizure damage) but I’ve been asked a lot to post vids of my seizures. I have always edited my tics and seizures out of my content because I don’t feel comfortable with the world having access to that. How did you develop the confidence to post your obvious health issues? I struggle with this a lot and I’m not sure weather I should work on it or stay private as I have been

The bravery to share this with the internet is astounding because people can be so disgusting and mean. But it’s so educational. Knowing when to ask for help during one, and knowing you’ll be okay is great. Your mums little comments fill me with such warmth ‘doesn’t hurt I’ve got me coat on’ and her asking if it’s okay to put the meds in your mouth so that consent is had as obviously you couldn’t have given it yourself and stuff. Glad you felt okay after this one!!

This really brings tears to my eyes.. not just for your facial expression during the really heavy ticks like you are obviously sick and tired of it. Of course, you cannot help it in any way, so I can barely imagine your feeling hopeless at times.. And your mom.. Just for her to be there and hold you, having the same hopeless expression in her look.. she should get a medal for that!

The pain in your eyes just made a tough as nails grown man tear up. I'm as hard as they come with very little compassion or sympathy (my theory is I don't want any therefor I don't give any) but you just showed some real guts and bravery. How you can regularly go through something as awful as that and yet come out the other side with a smile, gentle voice and kindness in your eyes just makes me feel humble. I wish you all the happiness and peace there is to give.

I can only imagine that after a bad tic attack you must just be exhausted. You can see the amount of energy a person is using during tic attacks, not to mention the energy required (both physically and mentally) to try and relax and calm yourself where possible must take a lot. I really applaud you for being open about this though because it really does just help people understand and be more aware and accepting. Honestly half the time exposure is the first step in people learning. I used to work in hospitals and I'm so used to see all kinds of injuries and medical conditions that I don't even notice certain things anymore. It's all just a part of life and the more people see and understand about life the more open and accepting people become.

I have so much respect for you. You are doing such an amazing job at spreading awareness whilst also being very aware of other people. You go out of your way to learn things about other disbilities to help spread awareness for those as well. I'm autistic with ADHD and whilst it isnt the same, I imagine it may feel similar. Whenever I have meltdowns I get rushes of energy throughout my entire body, especially in my arms, legs and neck, which is what causes a lot of the harmful behaviour seen within meltdowns (hitting things, pulling hair, kicking etc) and it is not something that can be controlled, if you do try to control it it just gets worse. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to experience that 24/7. You are an insanely impressive person and I hope that one day more people strive to be more like you.

I appreciate so much the warnings you put on this video, for the potentially triggering content. I love love love watching your content, but I do have harmful tics sometimes, so you putting the warning on there means so much to me. I'm not going to watch the whole video, just a bit in the beginning, but I just wanted to comment this and show my support to you. Stay strong Evie

You change our world for the better - with your advocacy with PANDA and touretts, as hard as it is watching you suffer like you do, my mind gets wider and some day I will meet someone, and Ill understand a little bit more, and make that person feel seen and accepted, no matter what they bring to the table. I have so much love for you Evie! Take care

Absolutely the most difficult “thumbs-up” I’ve ever given to anything. So difficult to say I “like” - but you’re such an amazing, wonderful person. Sharing more than I could begin to consider. Educational, caring, and a right lovely job redecorating your room.

Thank you so much for sharing this side of tic disorders. It's so important for people to see this side of things to help us fully get the gravity of disorders like this. Your mom brought tears to my eyes. A literal angel on earth! She reminds me so much of my mom. I've got chronic health issues and my mom... I can't even put into words how wonderful and dedicated she is.

You amazing, strong, brave woman!! Showing this in it's true form will help so many people. I've watched your chanel for a long time now and your explanations and honesty have helped me to understand so much better and working in the NHS I know you have helped me to be better at my job. Thank you for sharing such a difficult thing and I hope the bruises etc were not as bad as it looked like they would be!!! xxxx

This really means a lot to see other people going through this. I started ticing about 11 months ago and they've been getting increasingly more intense/complex very quickly. I'm currently waiting on a referral to neurology and have started a low dose of diazepam as and when I need it. But still I was joking with a colleague today about getting whiplash from trying to answer an email while my head was whipping back and forth. It's just difficult being the only person I know irl atm who has tics, and your openness and vulnerability give me the confidence not to be ashamed of them (or at least try not to!). Thank you a million

i am so sorry that you go through all of these tic attacks. i went to schools for people with severe reading and writing disabilities. and had two friends that had tourette's themselves.. i until now never realised just how serious and bad they can be.. and i am soo sorry that you go through all of this. nobody should have too go through and deal with what you do..
