I am smiling from ear to ear because I just returned from Seoul, Busan and other places in South Korea. I watched all these videos on how to be safe and I am happy to say that I found South Korea to be extremely safe. Additionally, the people were so kind, welcoming and honest! Yes, I didn’t need the extra “safety gear”. I fell in love with your country and the Korean people! It was an honor to have met them.😊

Disposable towels, Amazing! I didn't know they existed, I've always brought my own but they take up so much space plus trying to find a place to wash them is tough. I always bring baby wipes, they have multiple uses; foreign food may not agree with you so keep your bum clean, makeup removal, clean feet before getting in bed, wipe off hands also they can take a spill stain out of clothes; Because you never know when there will be a messy situation. The small packs are perfect for travel and fit in any bag.

Yay Danny is back!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thanks for the great advice!! The SIM card saved me in Korea esp after losing my credit card (talking about clumsiness) lol. Travel insurance is also suuuuuuper important. Some companies will offer even a coverage for a year! Sometimes that makes sense if you travel most than once a year! What I also do is when I fly I put 3 days worth of clothe in the carry on.. it’s a hassle but at least, if the airline misplaces the luggage you have a few things.

My older brother scoffed at travel insurance because it was “too expensive.: Then he broke his leg while traveling in Germany. Not only did he have to pay for a week in the hospital, but he missed his flight home and had to pay for an extra seat because of his leg cast. “Too expensive” ended up costing him about $5,000.

Another travel tip. I use a shampoo and conditioner bars rather than liquids. They are lighter and last a really long time. You can buy an inexpensive plastic soap bar container to store them in.

Hi, Danny! So glad to see you ☺️. Thank you for useful traveltips👍🏻. I don't know whether you're back or you're still traveling but I wish you happy journey! Traveling is unique. Traveling not only helps us better understand the world around us, but also, no matter how paradoxical it may be, helps us better understand ourselves, our desires, allows us to look at ourselves and our lives from the outside... big things are seen from a distance.

Good to see you again! My son recently traveled to Europe twice for weeks at a time. His most useful item was a carbon monoxide monitor which alerted them once in Swedish AirBnB and once in small hotel in Paris that CO levels were too high. The 2nd trip was with backpacks/carryon and way more fun! Agree about eSIMs and credit cards with no trans fees. Have fun, stay safe. Look forward to more adventures!

Always good to hear from you. When I came to Korea I did most of what you are talking about. I had a pretty perfect experience. Great information! I plan on returning to South Korea in 3 years. I am waiting for my grandson to graduate from high school so I can bring him with me. Hoping to visit your wine bar again! You are getting so well known you might not have time to say hello to us again! Anyway, I always look forward to hearing from you. Enjoy the rest of your trip in Europe. Safe travels!

Yep, except for the disposable underwear (nice idea actually😅), everything you mentioned has also been part of my essential travel luggage for my work travel and holidays for many years. And yes, that power bank I also learned the hard way!!! Don`t go anywhere far without it!!! LOL! 😂 What I also do is have a USB Flashdrive with me with copies of all my important documents (passport, licence, birth certificate, payment cards, etc.). I keep it separate from my bag and also digitally in a very secure place online also, so if God forbid my bag gets stolen with all the documents, it can save you sooo much trouble when you have the hassle of making new ones in a foreign country and you can still prove your identity. That happened to one of my friends before and she didn`t have the copies, so it got reaaaallly complicated and she missed her flight, had to stay longer until the new passport was issued, etc. etc. Highly recommend! 😄

Good calls there Dan. I’m awfully wasteful (and unfashionable) when going on trips. I will get really cheap cheap underwear, socks and t-shirts. Throw them away as I go, and then that leaves room for souvenirs to take home! I’ve not managed to get my head around eSIMs yet - one day maybe. But for short trips, I find I can get by on my normal sim by turning off roaming and just using wi-Fi. I download offline maps from google, and languages on google translate app, and that seems to work well. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Europe stay - we’re having a mini-heatwave at the moment. I’m off to Lithuania and Latvia next week so will wave down when I fly over France!

I always travel with my own little pillow. Pack it in my carry-on luggage. In general, I have basic survival equipment in my carry-on luggage.😅 And I have 2 credit cards just in case. A working credit card, passport and cell phone are essential for survival. I still take my blood donor card with me when I travel abroad because I have blood group 0 negative and can't receive any other blood group if I have an accident. And I always take my own hairdryer with me bc I have thick hair. 😬 Love the end.👌Let's enjoy to the fullest. So, enjoy to the fullest, Danny. 안녕✨️🫂 Travel is more than having a destination in mind; it's discovering a place in your heart you've never been before. ❤️

Whoa.. i thought you're gonna share about Nice France or Côte d'Azur... however your adaptor is exactly like mine. And also your small powerbank but mine is pink and turquoise. I also bring my own shampoo, conditioner and soap lol.. bcs i'm pretty allergic to certain chemicals. You bring your vitamins!!! That makes me happy!!! I also bring mine. Not only influenza meds but also other common sickness meds. I also bring disposable underwear but only for certain occasions and i still bring original underwears as well, so 50-50. I am a freak and weirdo when it comes to my own convenience when travelling, i have a habit of bringing many soft cloth housedresses for sleeping and also for my pillow. I have to put one piece of soft cloth housedress on my pillow and I have to smell my own smell and my own room to fall asleep 😅 and my housedress has it. Yeah weirdo.. what can i say 😅 i also have my skincare but i try to bring sample size of my own skincare so it is lighter. I think you forget to mention 'Sunblock' and 'Sunscreen' did you mention it? 🤔 hmmm don't forget those to prevent sunburn 🥵 or getting too tanned skin.. even i put spf 50 still my skin now is too tan 🥹🥹🥹 Have fun and stay healthy Danny!!! 💝💝💝

Hi Dan, your videos are always very comprehensive, even if I miss the bed talks. So you're in Europe, but you'll also make a stop in Italy...in Rome for example, and I'm not biased because I'm Roman...but it's a fantastic eternal city...there are many in Italy Naples for example Florence , but also in Sardinia and Sicily they have a fantastic sea...Italy is all beautiful and has small villages...very characteristic ... you have to come to Italy, you won't regret it 😉 ciao Danny

I hope you're enjoying your stay in Europe. :) I always bring a few pieces of paracord with me. For my last trip, I had 3 pieces of paracord, 1 meter each. And it came in handy. Because In Busan, I stuck my camera to the outside of the apartment window, to get a time-lapse of the beach and the sunset. The apartment was 20 floors up in a tower, so if the suction cup mount fails, it would fall at least 60 meters down, causing not only damage to my gear, but also damage to other people and property. So, to prevent that, I tethered the mount with paracord to an object inside as a failsafe. There are other use-cases too... You can tether yourself to your luggage when in transit to prevent theft. Tether transportation cards to your jacket so you won't lose them or tie things down to compact in your bags... Get to know some basic knots that sailors know and paracord can be your best friend on trips. I never leave without paracord. It's true that there's a lot of pick-pocketting in big cities in Europe, but don't get paranoid. It can ruin your experience. So does getting nicked, as well, but as long as you're aware of your surroundings and don't announce that you're a tourist and flash your fancy stuff around, you should be fine. 🙂 Besides, even though there's a problem, the chances of getting nicked are still very low. Just be careful in areas where there are a lot of tourist activities, or in areas where you shouldn't really be as a tourist.

Heeey, you didn't say 끝 at the end 😳 who are you and what have you done to Danny? 🤨 Who said you can't take 30 pairs of underwear in your luggage? I could 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Ohhh and for credit cards...not everyone can get a credit card though. I have at least 6 clients/day that I can’t give a credit card to cause they don't have a good credit score or they don't have a credit score at all (usually people that just started working or they're between ages of 20-25 years old) 🤭 But the lounge thing is sooo nice. Mine has for 2 airports and you're allowed, for people that have kids for example, to also put their kid as a co-owner of that credit card so they can have acces to the lounge for free. I thought I'm the only one that carries a whole bag of shampoo and conditioner and skin care products with me 😂 thank God there's another one 😂 And for people that know they're highly allergic to something, PLEASE bring your EpiPen if you have one 🥺 Thank you, Danny for the Airalo thingy, will install it to have it here just in case. Have fun and enjoy the vacation 🤗 끝
