THKFISH FISHING LINE SPOOLER - Test & Review

In this video I test out the THKFISH Fishing Line Spooler found on Amazon, and see how it works putting line on a baitcaster reel. Overall I thought it worked fairly well, it only had one issue. I got the same one. I greased mine up a bit when i first got it so it wasnt so creaky and loud. Has been working fine

Nice haha I added harder metal washers around each spring to help prevent it from shaving the metal off the aluminum parts and it’s been working pretty well. I use this thing alllll the time. 😂🤙🏽

Yeah for sure and I fixed that metal shavings issue with some steel washers haha works way smoother, just used it yesterday 😁🤙🏽

Bucket or sink of warm water works really well for spinning rods for sure 😊 Yeah I’ve tried pretty much every way and I always end up just asking her to hold the spool lol this definitely works I just had modify it a little. 😂

@@WhereWeWild go to Lowe’s and get a few nylon washers to put between the springs and aluminum parts. No more metal shavings 👍

@@nowakezone2000 Yeah I actually used a harder steel washer cause I had them laying around I haven’t tried it yet but I feel like the springs won’t be able to cut into them like the aluminum. We will see.

My guess is that a washer between the springs and the cones may solve the shavings issue.

I think you stand far enough away for them not to really be an issue, but I’ve completely fixed this thing by adding the harder steel washers on both sides of each spring. Works great 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

No it’s really not, especially for the price, it’s been performing way better than I thought it would for sure. And lol that’s crazy right? I’m hoping by adding the steel washers it will fix that issue, it should. 😁
